When I went online and researched the trike I found this to be the norm and that 90% of the trikes out there are top heavy and unsafe! We got this as it was lower and wider on the ground and it is perfect. Safe, pretty, and built strong. My 3 year- old loves it and her two cousins got the same on my recommendation. I purchased for my 3 yr old granddaughter for Christmas and more than met my expectations. It is well built and super easy to assemble. A little pricy but that comes with quality I suppose.
