Bought if for my granddaughter when she was 3. She is now a tall 6, and still plays with it daily. Unlike the furniture-type vanities there are no sharp edges or corners for a pre-schooler to run into. It can easily be moved out of the way when cleaning; requires minimal care; and is sturdy enough that I have on occasion sat on the stool for her to give me a makeover. Biggest surprise of all is that the stickers have held up through the years!

I had searched and searched online to find this Step2 Vanity for a low price and in stock. BabyAge fit both bills....low price and in stock. I love that it is cute and most of all that it is sturdy, and durable. My daughter loves it! My only disappointment was that the stool was supposed to have storage under it and it didn't. But I would buy it again knowing that anyway! Awesome!

After looking at some other vanities, this one had all that we wanted, its sturdy,has a nice mirror with light, a storage drawer and strudy stool for her. She got it for her birthday and hasnt stopped playing with it. she sings to herself in the mirror and plays "make up" with all the fake makeup we purchased separately. In comparision with the vanity with the keyboard, this vanity by step2 is more sturdy and I feel it will grow with her for years. Easy to assemble and the stickers are easy to apply.

This is exactly what I was looking for. My 5 year old got the Pottery Barn Vanity for her Birthday and my younger daughter was dying for one. I think she's too young to care for a nice furniture vanity, so I opted for this. There aren't any bells and whistles, but I think that's great. I even left off some of the stickers that come with it to keep it simple. It came with 3 accessories (Brush,etc.) It's cute and I can't wait to give it to my daughter for her 2nd Birthday!

it is plexiglass. no chance of shattering your child is able to see themselves. It is a very cute vanity. my daughter is 5 and still plays on it daily.

I just bought this for my 5 year old for Christmas and it's a perfect fit. She is average height about 44" in tall. I also bought one for my 22 month old who is above average height about 33" tall and her feet dangle just a little but she will be able to grow into it. Hope this helps.

I had looked at other vanities (actual wood ones) because it is for our 7 year old but everything we liked was out of stock until Feb/March and just went with this one. She is happy with it and our other two younger ones like it too. It is sturdy and the mirror is nice and big. So, the stool will be a little short but not to the point where she wouldn't use it.
