My granddaughter enjoys playing in it. The lid snaps down and is fasten avoiding being carried off by high winds. I am very pleased with this sand table. The only negative is it is a little short for my 5 yr old he has to sit down to play in it, but it works great for my 1 and 2yr olds. He's not sitting right in the sand like he would be if we'd purchased a sandbox. The top keeps the rain out and is very easy to put on and take off. Today we bought colored sand and filled the sand table up. My daughter played in the sand with her toys for well over an hour on our deck!!! She had a blast! It took two minutes to set up and could easily be stored away flat for the winter.
