Because this table comes with seats attached, is low and can be collapsed and stored, , it helped to make our family picnic gathering trouble free and enjoyable for the children and their parents. We have decided to bring it inside and use it for our Thanksgiving dinner gathering. 5.00 rating Big hit with the kids! t maack April 12, 2010 I was looking for templates to make my own kids' picnic table from lumber when i stumbled on this table. I do love to build, but i couldn't pass up a kids table that folds for storage, comes with an umbrella and seats 6 or more kids... for under $100! We did have a little trouble fitting the umbrella pole into the center hole in the table, but with a little advice from the little tikes customer service line (lubed it up with dish soap) it fit fine. I happen to be one of those crazy people who enjoy assembling things such as this, but this particular thing wasn't that fun. The directions weren't difficult to follow, but it was a little awkward at times. Take the advice in the directions and assemble this product on top of a work bench or table. Her Mother=i=law has one and it is very good quality and great for children to have their own place to eat, craft or other uses. It does not fold down easily.
The seats are not very sturdy for anyone over the recommended age to sit on. I don't think 8, 8 year old could sit on it. 8 five year old's yes.
THe umbrella doesn't fit in the whole. The whole in the table is not a perfect circle.
I think it is just the table we got. Probably will work on others.
It is little tikes a great product.
5.00 rating Granddaughters love picnic table J Jones July 14, 2009 This product does take time to assemble, and will take some time to remove some parts so it will fold for storage.
The table was a birthday gift for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday.
When it was assembled she and her sisters, ages 8 and 10 did not leave it for the next 4 hours. They found all their teasets and played all night until time for bed.
The next day they ate breakfast on it.
They LOVE it.
It is worth the effort to put it together.
