User Review for Melissa & Doug Plush Giraffe
Excellent stuffed animal. Bought for my son who really loves it!
User Review for Melissa & Doug Victorian Doll House
The Doll House arrivedon the date advertised. Grammy and I assembled it that night in about 2 1/2 hours. It went together exactly as stated. I'm an architect and it's a beautiful house with more detail than I expected. Our granddaughter will be ecstatic this Christmas! I would highly recommend it to anyone with a modicum of do-it yourself ability! It was simple and fun to assemble.
User Review for Little Colorado Picnic Table
I ordered the table with the belief that it was natural wood, as shown in the photo. However, the table is actually PAINTED WHITE. The description does say "white", so I do take full responsibility for my error, but I wish you would change the photo.
Arts & Crafts
Arts and crafts are very important to a growing child. Art is a great way for your child to express themselves. It helps expand a child's imagination. Whether their preferred medium is Play-Doh or paint, arts and crafts is a great way to help a child learn.
Art encompasses all the developmental domains in child development. Art helps physical development and enhances the gross and fine motor skills. All movement in art helps develop hand and finger muscles that are properly needed to hold a pencil.
Arts and crafts can also help with a child's social and emotional development. Children will be able to learn about themselves and others through art. It helps them build self-esteem by making new friends who have the same interests as them. It is also an opportunity for a child to express their uniqueness by making a personal statement with their art.
Art can also enhance a child's cognitive development, which will easily enhance their math skills.
