Rarely does a mom or dad make it through a day without thinking they could use an extra set of hands. So we designed the next best thing: a safety gate that doesn't require any hands at all! Versatile too, as it's suitable between rooms or at the bottom of stairs. But perhaps the finest part is that while it's simple for an adult to just press on the pedal and walk through, it's too difficult for a baby as the child-proof pedal requires the weight of an adult.

Gate door swings open in both directions for ease of use. White metal frame features no-mar rubbers. Audible click indicates the gate has locked. Measures 30" high x 29" wide, and extends to 34" wide--up to 39" wide with the extension. Pressure-mounted gate; some assembly required.
