5.00 rating Love it! by Vbac on August 29, 2010
I also wish we had bought this as our first stroller considering that it is more adaptable for infants all the way to toddlers. My 3 year old and my newborn love riding in it and the fact that it can also be a travel system is a major plus. It is bulkier but if you have the trunk space it is definitely worth buying especially if you want an in-line double stroller.
3.00 rating Phil and Teds Vibe with Doubles Kit by Tanya on August 26, 2010
As soon s I found out I was pregnant with #2 I started the quest for the perfect double stroller. I had seen a few of the Phil and Teds strollers and I liked how streamlined they were as well as how little they weighed. So, we bought one and I have mixed feelings about it. I had been warned about how difficult it is to close, but it is much harder than I thought. I have only closed it succesfully once! We are also having a problem with the front wheel when it is in the swivel position. It goes sideways and the the stroller can not be pushed. But if it is not in the swivel position it is VERY hard to turn left to right. I feel like I need an instructional video on how to use this stroller. But I so like it and I think with time it will get better.
5.00 rating only option for a compact double stroller by plo on May 18, 2010
If you want a compact double stroller this is your only option for one in the u.s. and you may as well get the diddy one because you can fold it with the second seat attached and it looks so cool. my kids love it too. hopefully bob will make one like this so it will have even better stearing, but p&t is def. sufficient for city living.
5.00 rating I wish we bought this as our FIRST stroller by gkbmd on April 21, 2010
We have 3yo and 8 month old children. We had a Peg Perego for our oldest, it fit the bill, but with our second, we wanted a newer stroller that could also accommodate both children. This is a beautifully crafted stroller, easy to put together and with excellent features. It's perfect because our oldest child doesn't always like to ride in a stroller, but when we're out and about and she gets tired, it's easy and convenient to put her in the front and the baby in the back. We had concerns about the comfort of the doubles kit, but our younger child seems to enjoy it just fine. The stroller is an ultra smooth ride, great on ALL terrains, especially on curbs, grass and playgrounds. Thoughtful features like the padded seats and the brake are excellent additions. Compared to our first stroller, it's certainly bulkier, and more complicated to fold and unfold (this takes a few practice runs to get it right). We actually couldn't figure it out from the instructions provided with the stroller but were able to download a much more detailed and graphic version of the folding/unfolding instructions from the Phil & Ted's website. All in all, this is the best double stroller option out there, because at some time our oldest child will not want to ride in a stroller at all and we can quickly convert it back to a single stroller for the younger one. What a fantastic stroller!
