Rated 5 stars  Best Ever! - JJMemmott
I bought this for my 16 month old son for Christmas and he absolutely loved it. It was low enough he could do everything. He did climb into it at first and did all the moving around. But now just stands. When we are sick of trains we put the lid on and have a great table to do anything on it. I love not having to build the bridge every time and it makes a great car and train storage, when not in use. He is three now and still loves it.
Rated 5 stars  Great Value - Audrey Whitehurst
Bought this for my four year old son. Took about 15 minutes to assemble, including appplying all stickers. Only negative is no pilot holes for table legs. After assembled, I did'nt hear as much as a peep from my son for two whole hours as he played. Priceless. He loves it, what a great value.
Rated 5 stars  Excellent starting train table--the best for ages 1-2! - mommy of 4
This is an excellent alternative to the wooden train tables, and a great price, honestly one of the best deals out there. The best part about it is that you can use wooden, plastic, or diecast trains, or just matchbox cars. Other tracks I've purchased fit only the wooden OR diecast Thomas and Friends trains, so no mixing and matching. The overpasses, valleys and slopes provide enough fun for both my 19 month old and almost 3 year old. They can't take apart the tracks, which is perfect for their age. It's extremely frustrating for them to try to play with wooden tracks that come apart--they just aren't ready for that yet. With this set, they can be imaginative and rough, without worrying about their elbow hitting something and breaking it apart. Very stress free, and so much fun! Plus, when my 2 year old does want to create something with his wooden tracks, we just place the top back on this table, and he constructs away. I've researched train tables, and unless you want to glue your wooden track sets in place, this is the best thing out there for fun, imaginative, train and car play for the younger ones--without constantly having to rebuild for a dissappointed and impatient toddler! Really, there's nothing sadder to a 2 year old than to spend forever putting tracks together just to have your younger sibling knock them over--or accidentally knock it over yourself. With this table, they both have played hours together without a fight--there's plenty of room for everyone. Even their older brothers (ages 7,9) love to race their cars around on this table. No complaints at all about the quality, the road and track stickers are very forgiving, don't stress about placing them perfectly, there's plenty of room for error--just remember to place the stickers BEFORE putting the set together (the directions tell you to do it after--would be extremely difficult). The legs were hard to attach, with no pre-drilled holes--but the set is well worth the trouble. Of course once the kids get older--if they are still into Thomas--I will be getting a do-it-themselves wooden set to match their growing creativity levels and dexterity skills, but for now, pretend play is exactly what they love to do best! At this price, it's worth it to buy it until they are ready for the other table. Then, I'll just bring this to Grandma's-- I'm sure they will love to use their cars on it for years to come.
Rated 5 stars  My 4 year old loves it - Snyder
My 4 year old boy loves this track. It is very durable as he pushes it around and puts the top (art table) on. He plays hard with his toys and this is standing up to the test. He plays for a while and with different size cars and trucks. It was very easy to assemble, just place the stickers and attach the bridge pieces and legs.
Rated 5 stars  Highly recommended - Jayne
I've been looking for something like this for a long time! There is nothing to knock down or to move out of place...my 2 year old son loves it. Easy to put together and well worth the money!
Rated 5 stars  Fabulous set! - CH in Hot Springs
Our 21 month old son can not get enough of this train set. Other toys barely hold his attention, but he will literally play with this set for a couple of hours, non-stop. It does take a little time to put all the stickers on and assemble the bridges, etc. But it is completely worth it at twice the price. Our son is also on the heavy side, but he likes to sit on it and play and it supports his weight with no problem. Excellent train set.
