EleCare is an elemental formula containing free amino acids; therefore it is suitable for infants and children who cannot tolerate soy or protein hydrolysate formulas. EleCare can be used to provide complete or supplemental nutritional support for infants and children with cow's milk allergies. EleCare is indicated for the dietary management of protein maldigestion, malabsorption, severe food allergies, short-bowel syndrome, eosinophilic GI disorders, GI-tract impairment, or other conditions in which an amino acid-based diet is required.
