This booster car seat seems safe and effective. It may not be the most comfortable I have seen, but that also goes with the price-it's definitely not the most expensive one! The head cushion seems in the way for my child and while I know I can remove it, you must take off bolts, etc. It is not very convenient to change. As long as you place the chest buckle high enough, the child does not fall to one side. No really big complaints, just little idiosyncrasies.
