I purchased my Safety 1st thermometer approximately 4 months ago & I really recommend it, especially w/ small children. It is very fast & accurate. I do have a question about this product.... Unfortunately one of my older daughter's changed the thermometer reading from Fahrenheit to Celsius & I can not locate the instruction book to change it back. Can you please email the instruction to change the reading back to Fahrenheit instead of Celsius? Thank you for your cooperation.

We love the safety 1st ear thermometer, after fighting with all of the other thermometers out there, this one has been the best by far. We have twin boys, so it's quick and accurate and definitley worth it... Unfortunatley, we have a reading of celsius instead of fahrenheit and are unable to locate the instructions. I have looked everywhere on the internet at different websites but have come up empty handed, would you be able to help in anyway? Thank You for your help and having such a great product.

I really like this product and would recommend it to any new parent. Push the reading button to the bottom and when it turns on push it towards the top and it will change the reading from cel to far or far to cel.

To switch the display between °F and °C, simply turn OFF the unit, press and hold the Activation Button until the ready display appears. Press and release the Activation Button to switch from °F to °C, and vice-versa. Once you have selected a measurement scale wait until the thermometer LCD shows a full display.

You can download the instruction manual from the safety 1st website by entering the model number and no date. To change it you turn off the thermometer, press and hold the activation switch (the button you press to take the temperature) until it turns on (about 5 seconds) then press it again to change it, then wait a few seconds until it says it's ready.

You have to hold down the temp. button for six to ten seconds and then it gives you the flashing message to pick either one. Then you push it to toggle between them and you are set, just leave it on till it turns off on its own and it is fixed. It took my husband and me months of arguments to figure it out. Very hard to get a hold of the company infomation for it but it a good working item. We like it just hate the lack of instructions.
