The only complaint I have is that it can be difficult to open w/ one hand. Otherwise, this gate is just what I was looking for - it's super easy to clean and maintain, there's no wondering what's going on on the other side, and it's flexible (you can mount it or not). I have it mounted, and am on the search for another couple now that I have another baby making his moves through the house. Overall, I highly recommend it!

I have 3 of these gates in our house. I've gotten many compliments on how it's "not ugly, like most gates." I like the clear part of the gate. The handle is easy to use...once you figure it out ;-).

Nice design, but these gates use low quality plastic locking parts. After 4 months 3 of our 5 gates internal parts have failed allowing the gates to become loose and slide open. Don't have the receipts for warranty.

  Problems with this gate - Sherri

I have been using this gate for 2 1/2 years, and through two toddlers. I was very happy with it until my son learned how to screw/unscrew the adjustable stops on the sides. If I don't catch and fix it, the gate swings all the way open to the other side. The gate is mounted properly w/ hardware at the top of the stairs. My son is 20 months and weighs 24 lbs, and has fallen down the stairs twice now because of it. I cannot use this gate anymore, and have replaced it w/ a safer one.
