Reviews

Rated 5 stars  Easy to use - Tim, Keyon, MI
We bought both the Britax Preview Stroller after Consumer Reports reviewed the Britax Companion Car seat as the safest of the infant/rear-facing seats on the market. The Preview stroller accommodates the car seat well. The seat snaps in easily to the stroller. The stroller is not overly bulky and many places list it as an "umbrella" stroller rather than a travel stroller. The stroller is very stable as long as you lock it once you unfold it. While at first it is difficult to maneuver with one hand, becomes easier to manage fairly quickly as you learn how it moves. I agree with the previous reviewer that the sunshade doesn't seem to fit quite right, but a few adjustments and it works now. Storage is great and we love the detachable bag too. We'd probably not have looked at this stroller if it wasn't for the CR review of the Companion car seat, but we're glad we did. We did get a jogging stroller as well, for the times when we need more maneuverability. But since infants are not supposed to be in jogging strollers until about 6 months old, we haven't even unpacked that one yet!
Rated 4 stars  Great Stoller (but used so far for the carseat) - Richard, Tallahassee, FL
My wife and I have been extremely satisfied with this stoller (we bought the related companion infant car seat). Our son is now four months old and we bought this before he was born. The ability to snap in the companion carseat is the main benefit so far for us. It is well built, locks securely, and maneuvers easily in restaurants. It is light and sets up easily. My petite 5' wife has no problems getting this into/out of the trunk and setup. We haven't used it yet without the carseat but it does have reasonably large storage pockets, a great zippered storage bag (we use it as our diaper bag for short trips), and the ability to lock the front wheels straight. The 'brakes' engage well and easily (seems easier than some other strollers I've tried). A couple of minor complaints: The seatback always is in the most upright position after 'opening' it up (taking it out of the truck). However, the companion carseat requires that the seatback be lowered before it can snap securely into place (when the seatback is upright - it doesn't quite have enough room to allow the locking mechanism to engage). Therefore, I have to lower the seatback before dropping in the carseat. I now have gotten used to this so not a big deal. Also, when the carseat is in the stoller, you cannot access the underneath storage very well since the seatback is almost horizontal (and blocks the top-entry of the storage bin). Again, not a big deal. We bought this because it is a stroller/carseat combination but it also seems well designed as a standalone stroller.
Rated 2 stars  not a one hand stroller - Kelly, Lake Wylie, SC
As typical of Britax, the safety features/sturdiness of this stroller are not rivaled; however, this stroller is difficult to steer with one hand, akward to open & close, and recline. I have two kids, and I am unable to hold my daughter's hand and steer the stroller with the other. I thought this stroller was the answer for a compact stroller, but I am now shopping for a new one (even though my son is already 16m old)! The negatives take away from any of the positives.
Rated 5 stars  I loved this stroller - only wish they had a double!! - Judy Collins
This stroller my husband picked when I wanted a cheaper chicco. I can't tell you how much I loved it once we had it. It is great for travel. The seat is very roomy. Between the full recline and adjustable leg supports my son could sleep like he was in his crib. The fabrics are very soft, and the detachable bag is a great size and great idea. I could steer it with 1 hand no problem (unlike other reviewer). I wish they made it in a double as now I have 2 under 2! The quality is great. The design is well thought out. I loved it and I am a real stroller enthsiast!
Rated 2 stars  Dissapointing - Amy
I bought this stroller to use with my 4 mo. son. I use Britax carseats and LOVE them so I assumed that their stroller would be great also. You can't push this stroller with one hand, no cup holder, undercarriage basket is useless when the stroller is reclined, sun canopy doesn't provide adequate coverage and the waist portion of the 5 point harness doesn't fit "husky" babies (my son is 8mo. and 23lbs and cannot fit into the harness). I do not recommend this stroller
