The monitor is equipped with a high resolution portable camera. The camera has a built-in light sensor which will automatically turn on the night vision feature when there is no light detected. You can also turn the screen of the receiver off and still maintain the sound monitor function. The monitor operates on a frequency of 900 MHz, which means it will not interfere with 2.4 GHz cordless telephones, microwaves, and wireless networks.
