The light and portable, the Compass I400 Infant Car Seat is designed with a unique shell design that allows it to be bigger, but stay as light as any other infant seat on the market! It has a full EPS (bicycle helmet foam) foam liner throughout the entire shell that absorbs energy to reduce the effects of a crash on the infant. The I400 has the deepest side wings of any infant seat to help contain the child in the event of a crash and uses two separately attached LATCH points. This reduces lateral movement of the seat in the event of a side impact collision. Shoulder belt positions can be quickly adjusted without unthreading and rethreading the harness, it has a built-in lock off system that eliminates the need to use a confusing locking clip, and the I400 has a seat angle adjuster located in the rear, which is the accessible portion of a rear facing seat!
