It was very easy to put together. It is a bit wide to roll through doorways from one room to another, but is very easy to take apart and put back together. It takes about 20 minutes to assemble. I also was a bit disappointed that it didn't convert, but upon further research, recently found a conversion rail that will turn this crib into a toddler bed for around $59.00. | | By: MJ's Mom | | | Great Crib! | We decided to purchase this crib in white for our first child 2 years ago. At the time, we found a white changing table that matched, so we got the set. We researched all the baby furniture options and in deciding our budget, we took into consideration that we were purchasing baby furniture, not something to keep for 15 years. This way, we were able to avoid all of the "convertible" products that cost almost double. I had heard of DaVinci and Million Dollar Baby Furniture from a lady that owned a resale shop that I frequented. She was also a dealer, and was available to answer all of my questions and I got to look at a catalog as well as floor samples. We decided on this one because we liked the simplicity and the price (around $180 back then). It took 2 weeks to arrive, and it was super easy to assemble with the included tool. My husband set it up in less than an hour. Once it was up it was very sturdy, and it looked great-the finish didn't scratch easily. We used this for 2 years. It has 4 mattress levels, which is so convenient at first when you are trying to lay the baby down, and when your little one starts to climb and hang on the crib, you can just lower the mattress. There is a clear plastic teething rail that comes with this to protect the wood. Another bonus was the casters that allowed it to roll around the room (they did lock) which came in really handy for cleaning underneath the crib where all those toys seem to land! The Jenny Lind Style has come back "in", and especially for little girls, it matches so well with all the shabby chic bedding that is so popular now. It was a great looking crib and served our needs well, my daughter has since moved to a big girl bed but that crib has tons of life left!! All in all, it was a great purchase for us since we were not looking for a convertible crib. The price was very affordable and the value for the money cannot be beat. | | By: Ashley, Stanford, CT | | | Write your own review and start sharing your opinion with others. | | |
