After several years, 3 children and countless child restraints... we have finally found the best seat for our needs. I wish this seat had been available a number of years ago, but really glad it is now. Yes, a Britax would have been nice, but the price wasn't easy to settle for it. This seat was a no brainer. Our little boy has been in this seat for 4mos(since 10mos) and it is holding up to the test. Through spills & washes & daily use. He is latched rear-facing and fits in very comfortably. At this time he is 18lbs & 32" tall, so this is a must. Installation was fairly easy, a few minutes of my time. I also re-check install every time to make sure we are a go. We also tried our middle child (5.5 yrs old) in this seat for fit. Although she did fit, the straps were tight as she is tall (45" & 44lbs). She was not thrilled because she is more familiar with her hback booster seat. Our purchase of this seat was for our little one and it's been worth every penny spent to keep him safely restrained in the car.

This seat has the perfect combination of harness height and weight limits to last the average kid from a few months of age to booster age. Its a perfect fit in many small cars... including my sunfire.. and its a budget family Britax seat (made under license from Britax by Fisher Price) I absolutely think this is the best seat on the market.. as of today.

I bought this car seat when my daughter was 4 months old. I wanted a Britax but saw this one for $100 less and really liked it. It's a wonderful car seat. I've washed the cover twice in the washing machine and it looks like it's never been used. It's very easy to use. I actually took the pillow and strap pads off immediately so I never used those. My only complaint is that the latch straps are too short for using them forward facing, I don't know if there's a remedy for this but that is frustrating to me. It works perfectly with a seat belt however.
