The standard length of a marathon is 26.2 miles, and the Britax Marathon Convertible Car Seat will cover more than 100 times that distance.

The Britax Marathon Convertible car seat is one of the most functional seats to ever hit the market. Slightly larger than other Britax Car Seats, the Marathon is legendary for safety and comfort. It's important to note that the shell of the car seat is a bit bulkier than others, so parents should allow for about 31 inches of seat space when used rear facing.

Some of the unique features on the Britax Marathon Convertible Car Seat include a five-point polyester harness with no-tangle polyester webbing, built in lock-offs for the car's seat belts, and a push-button LATCH system with VersaTether. 	Britax Marathon
	This is a great car seat. It fit both backwards and forward facing in my Honda Civic. It is esay to wash and I do dry the cover even though they say not to. The only concern I have is that my son is tall, so he already is at the top harness slot and is only 40lbs. I would assume he will out grow this car seat before he reaches 65lbs. Well worth the money for me and I will be buying the Britax booster seat next.

	Britax
	I was in a car accident where I reached back to give my kid somthing and my car swirved over to the other lane. Needless to say, the accident was horrendous, when I looked back at my son in his Britax, he was playing with his toys, he never even notice the accident and the car seat was in tack! I had to buy a new car seat and doubt about it I purchased the Britax. I also was urgin people to purchase the car seats. Thanks Britax!

	Love it!!!
	I purchased two of the marathons for my 2 and 3 three year old at the time. I've tried Graco and evenflo in the past and was not happy, mainly for comfort and their heads flopping forward, when they fell asleep. I heard about the Britax carseats and my husband and I decided to try them out. My boys love them, even my oldest daughter wanted one for herself. Their heads don't flop forward and they don't complain when riding in them. My boys are now 4 and 3 and still love their seats. I know they are not cheap, but when it comes to the safety of your child, cost does not matter.

	The Cadillac of Car Seats!
	This is the best carseat I have ever purchased. My older son used the Alpha Omega and it doesn't even compare to the Britax. We actually bought an Alpha Omega for our six month old before this carseat and he cried the three times we put him in it. The Britax Marathon is roomy and very comfortable. We used the latches and the anchor and it doesn't move at all. I was very nervous with other carseats because no matter what we did, they always moved side to side. Not this carseat, it stays in place. It is a very large caresat though and we have a small car, so it takes up a large part of the backseat. We also had to put it in the middle, because we couldn't move the front seats back and forth because of its size. This leaves little room for our older son. Everyone who sees this seat loves it and it was well worth the money. I will buy a Britax again in the future if needed and I would recomend it to anyone.

	Safe in Car Accidents
	I am an insurance claims adjuster and have spoken to policyholders about this car seat. I've handled claims in which a few of the Britax carseats were used. One customer had a child in a regular car seat and the baby hit her head on the glass. The other child was in a Britax carseat and was safe. The policy holder was so confident in the way the carseat held up! So that proves it is a great buy!

	Love It!
	We have our marathon for now 18 month old and are now purchasing another for our 2 month old. I have 2 girls in the 90th percentile and they were never comfortable in their infant carriers. I could not go anywhere peacefully with my first born until she sat in her britax for the first time. we are thankful at how it surrounds and protects her as well as how comfortable she is and how incredibly easy it is to install and buckle her in. OH and we get so many comments on how attractive it is. I constantly take it in and out to put in my sister"s van and it is soosososo easy. I worked as a nanny for a decade before I had my own children...of all the seats I have experience with...this is by far the best.

	Life saver!,
	This carseat saved my son's life. We just had a serious accident and our SUV ended up rolling and landing on the roof. My husband injured his elbow and knee, I sustained a concussion and lacerations to my head, hands, arms and legs. My baby, in his Britax Marathon, NOT A SCRATCH, BRUISE OR INJURY. The car seat did not move an inch and he was just as secure and safe as when he was placed in the seat and buckled in. This car seat IS WELL WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY.

	Great Carseat!
	This is the third carseat that we have gotten since my son was born (he's 6 mos.). He has continued to outgrow the infant seats and so we decided to go ahead and invest in the Convertible Britax Marathon. This thing has so many safety harnesses, I feel sure that if there is an accident, the ONLY thing that would be left is this seat and the seat it is attached to. I can't say enough good things about it. My son doesn't sweat in it like the others, he is snug enough to be safe, yet has enough room to be comfortable. Also, it is approved up to 65 lbs. which is 15 lbs. more than most convertibles. You can't go wrong with this one!

	Crash Tested!
	We were rear-ended last week and my husband and I had pretty bad whip-lash, but the kids were fine. After being hit I immediately turned around and looked at my 3 year old and 17 mo. old and they didn't looked phased. My 3 year old said, "what was that," and neither of them ever made a sound. I am so thankful that we had the children in these carseats. We had originally purchased a Graco car seat for our 2nd child because of the price, but had such a difficult time using it and didn't feel it was as safe so returned them and purchased 2 more Britax Marathons. Britax makes the safest and easiest to use car seats that we have found. It is well worth the extra money!
