The mounting hardware can then be used to create a mounting system which works on wrought-iron railings and can create a swing gate. I have used one like this for years and years as a dog gate. Now I'm here to buy another one. The first one is still going strong.

It may work well if you do not need to pass through it often and your walls are perfectly sqauare. However, I really do not like this gate. If your walls are anything less than perfectly square it will not fit securely without really wrenching the lever closed. My 13 month old son has knocked it down more than onces. I have to tighten this thing so much that the plastic bows out and the little plastic lever bows and curves. Not only that, it's very hard on my thumbs to use that much pressure to close the gate. If you are using it in an area where you need to walk through often, it's not a good gate since you either have to step over it or completely open it and wrench it closed again.
