I saved up my money and bought this when I was about 8 years old. My parents still have it at thier house with my my other ones. I have many fond memories of playing with it.(mine was blue)

The Beacon Hill has seven rooms, and it has two hallways that are large enough to furnish as rooms. Three fireplaces, three bay windows, and a winding staircase add to the elegance of this outstanding dollhouse.

Whatever you do don't make this your 1st. try at a doll house. Having done 6 houses from different manufacturers I find the "die cut" kits the toughest. All part edges require extensive work to make them presentable. I resorted to alot more staining & wall paper as opposed to paint to get around this. I also shortened the height of the tower roof by removing 1" from above & below the window. I have to admit that even though I found it a real nail-biter to build, it turned out to be a very attractive house.
