The stroller was to small in the rear for my son and the front seat was not suitable for him if he needed to take a nap. He was unable to take a nap in the stroller. My daughter liked to kick so I was forced to put her in the front seat. In the back she would kick the backseat of the front seat, making in very uncomfortably for my son. The front seats back is paper thin. Also if you have a SUV with a spare tire in the back, plan on removing it unless you want to dismantle the stroller every time you put it in the truck. I decided to go for the side by side double and found it to work alot better. | | By: Bonnie, Smithtown, NY | | | good option for twins with a few flaws | We have the single Graco travel system for our 2-year old and had no complaints. This stroller is a neccesity for twins for a couple of reasons: it holds 2 infant seats, it has lots of storage and you can completely cover both babies (important to shield new babies from nosy people). That said there are a few things that are very annoying: it is difficult to get the lock to catch when you fold it up, the front sun canopy constantly comes off and is a PAIN to get back on, the "mommy" cup holder is unusable unless the back canopy is extended, the back carrier always gets caught on the canopy and you can't strap in the back baby without removing that carrier. I don't know of a better option for the price, but I am looking for a lighter side-by-side stroller once the twins are out of the carriers. | | By: Sarah, Cincinnati | | | Graco DuoGlider LXI Metropolitan Double Stroller | This stroller has definitely exceeded by expectations. This stroller is easy to turn, to push, etc. The canopies are great. They protect against the sun and rain. They cover the children completely. I also love the parent tray. It has a holder for a drink, and an enclosed compartment you can put your cell phone, glasses, snacks, etc. in. The five-point harnesses on each seat are great. They keep the kids secure, but the kids are still able to move and breathe comfortably. This stroller folds up easily with one hand. The stroller has a nice basket below to carry things (coats, shopping bags), food, etc. I absolutely love this stroller! | | By: Michelle, UT | | | Life saver!, | This system saved me! I have a 3 week old and a 23 month old. My parents bought this for us. I works perfectly. My 23 month old loves that he sits up front and able to see the world! The stadium seating will be nice for when the youngest gets older. The only thing I would change is where the cup holders are located and that it be a bit lighter. But what can you expect it is a double stroller. | | By: Tammy, CA | | | Love this Stroller! | We purchased this stroller when we found out we were pregnant with our younger son. A year later we still have the stroller, and with a now 6mo old and a 2 yr old this stroller is such a help. It has trays for both the front and back seats, as well as cup holders for both. It maneuvers quite easily throughout stores and even crowded shopping malls. The stadium seating is great for the kids, and allows for ample storage in the basket underneath. Only cons to this product is that you need to take off all cup holders and trays (including the parent on by the handle) in order to close the stroller, although we have managed to leave the parent and front seat trays on, you still must take out the rear tray and the shades in order to close it easily. Also it is quite bulky and heavy, although that is to be expected with a double stroller. 4 stars were given due to the fact that you need to take off almost all accessories in order to easily collapse the stroller. | | By: Rita, Scranton,PA | | | Very Functional, Easy to Use, & Nice on the Eyes | I love this stroller for neighborhood walks and quick errands. It's incredibly easy to use and a nice weight. Quick release on the handle bar makes stroller take down or set-up a one-step process. Includes a large basket underneath. The sun canopies are great. They protect children against the sun, wind, and rain. I also love the child tray great to be able to put snacks out for my toddler when we're on the go. Other pluses are the see through window on the canopy and snack/drink holders on both the child seats and the handle rail for the parents for a water bottle or to store keys. | | By: Helen, IL | | | Good, but has a few flaws | This stroller is overall pretty good. The straps are kind of cheesy, they don't have any fabric over them, they are just plain straps, even between the legs. The harness feature is nice, but my daughter figured out how to get out of it the first 10 minutes. If you have a large child it will probably not fit comfortably in the front seat. The fabric wipes easily off if spills occur, but it is stiff. It has a large basket in the bottom for storage, but it is hard to get to if the back seat is all the way down. It turns pretty easily, but the more weight in the stroller, the harder it is to move. The canopies are nice. The wheels are hard plastic, not rubber. The two trays for the kids are nice for drinks and snacks. It's a decent stroller, but I don't know that I would recommend it. | | By: Cass 11/1/2006 | | | I'm sure there has to be better.... | I bought this stroller when my son was 21months and daughter just born. Its nice cause the carrier does just click easy in but there are other things that drive me nuts....The basket is very large but never seem to use it cause when the baby carrier is on it, can't get things in or out. (so a waste). I have yet to use shade in front due to the fact doesn't fold easy when attached. That said, hard to clip lock to stay closed. Very easy to fold up though. Front tray seems to hit ground when folded so gets scratched. Besides all that once you get it going its great riding!!!! | | By: babblin", IL 1/18/2007 | | | Love this stroller !!! | I love my stroller I bought it when we were expecting our 3rd child- we already had a 4 yr. old and a 15 mo. old. When you remove the front tray my 4 yr old was able to ride, and w/ the stadium seating our 15. mo old was ab;e to see well and able to take a nap when needed. Now we use it w/ our newborn (now 7 mo) and our now 2 year old. The infant seat clicks in easily in the rear seat and our 2 yr old stays put w/ the harness straps. The front seat reclines and is great when he needs to nap. The basket underneath is great because it is so big, the easy release makes it simple to get in the basket when the rear seat is fully reclined for the infant carrier. It folds easily w/ 1 hand as long as all the wheels are straight. It pushes and steers very easily, I had an eddie bauer travel system w/ our 1st child and this steers much better. The only thing that I don't like is how heavy it is, but I have yet to find a double stroller (that can carry an infant seat) that isn't. I would definatly recommend this stroller | | By: Lindy 3/1/2007 | | | I love this stroller! | My 5 year old and 2 year still use it at the mall and at amusement parks (which we frequent often). I like this double because now that my daughters legs can reach the ground in strollers, this one gives her room for her feet if she is sitting in the back. She keeps them in the basket and it doesn't affect my pushing. (ie she can't stop me by putting her feet on the ground or wheels. Another plus is they can both sleep (which happens often at amusement parks). The front seat is not as comfortable to sleep but my 2 year old does not seem to mind. I have gotten 2+ years out of mine and I love it. | | By: Mom of Two 3/8/2007 | | | Write your own review and start sharing your opinion with others. | | | | | | | | | | |
