Playing on a swing is one of childhood's great entertainment rites. But as parents know, a swing is not necessarily the safest of outdoor toys. But Step2 allows even tiny tots to get their swing on safely. The Step2 Toddler Swing has a strong, weather-resistant rope for extended durability, and webbed straps and S-hooks hold your little tyke in snugly. A 5-point harness system buckles the little rider in with a latch for added security. Ditch the worries and bring on the thrills!

I'm very impressed with safety features. I like the fact that you can harness the child in the swing-no bar to raise up while trying to place the child.
Rated 4 stars  Great for a range of ages! - Micayla Halligan
The five-point harness has allowed us to put our 2.5 month old in it. She loves swinging. Also great for her 8 month old cousin. Downside: The clips on the harness are hard to undo, so might not be good if the adult is arthritic or otherwise has a lack of finger strength. The support lines would be better as a braided rope instead of twisted. Also, some people have complained about the polypropylene fraying after only a couple days, but I haven't experienced this. Polypropylene is more mildew resistant than other ropes, but does suffer from the sun which is not as much a problem in my environment as in others.
