This Kitchen is the BEST !!!!!! toy in my house now, and he LOVES it. It came tonight and it only took 30 minutes to put together, which compared to the other one that took 2 DAYS !!!!! to put together.. No real need for the batteries, there are plenty of opportunities to explore. Be prepared - it does take about an hour to put together and uses a bunch of batteries. This toy was ordered online from Target and got here in plenty of time for Christmas. We hid it from the kids, but assembled it the night before Christmas. It went together really well. I applied the decals before assembling. Nothing was missing and it took about an hour, but I was taking my time. I only needed help once and that was to place the dish rack. It is sturdy, compact and gives lots and lots of pretend play. The kids have been at it for hours and we have been playing with them too. It is pretty cool.
