I purchased this playard because of the colors and features. One thing that I like the most is how you can take the floorpad and use it as a play gym on the floor, rather than keeping it in the playard-so it's like having 2 things for the price of one. The nightlight/music attachment is great with adjustable volume, different sounds and it comes with a remote-so that I do not have to disturb my sleeping baby! (Not to mention that the nightlight helps me keep an eye on my baby at night-since I am using this as a bassinet in our room till he is old enough for his crib) This playard was WELL worth the money. You have to at least check it out and compare to the other brands. You won't be sorry! **You can also get the Cortina Travel system and Polly Highchair that matches to have a matching set! 1/1/2004 | |  | Poor Functionality | It is very difficult to put the crib up and pack it away. It is not very convient for travel. Once it is up and put together, it works fine. The night light, vibrator, and music programs are a nice touch. Also, the crib pad, bassinet, and changer are very nice. However, I would recommend a less expensive Graco model. This one has a thick quilted mattress that is MACHINE WASHABLE! It has every feature you could imagine: Change table, playmat, lights, music, vibration and all easily activated by a remote control. 1/1/2004 | | | Nearly Perfect! | I love my Chicco Lullaby Playard. It is both attractive and functional! The bassinet is fantastic -- larger than the Graco models and very nicely padded. Easy to set up and take apart. And the pad and toy attachment doubles as a gym -- no need to purchase a separate one! And as another reviewer note, no more annoying plaids!!! My only complaint is that the bassinet mattress/playard pad does not have sheets or a removable cover. You need to wash the entire pad (and therefore can't use the yard) when baby spits up or makes any other mess. But I called Chicco customer service to ask about an additional pad and they are available. The rep sent one out to me right away...I had it within 2 days of making my call. It's also much nicer looking than others on the market. It's worth every penny! Someone complained about the setup and take-down, but I don't understand why. The quilted pad and siding is so plush, the play gym can be used on the floor, and after the first initial set up, it only takes 5 minutes to set up (my husband and I timed it!!).
