Amazing seat
- John Perfect for our son to sleep in, very very safe (he was in one of these in the back seat of our mini van when my wife was rear-ended by a truck destroying the van - he did not even get a scratch or a bruise - the neck guards are very protective). It is a comfortable seat that is each to use... We like it much better than Britax models. Will get another one for our next child.

GREAT!
- Michael This is the second Recaro Signo we've purchased. Our 2-year old is in one and this one was for our 3-month old. Keeps our kids safe and comfy and in a 5-point as long as possible!
Got this one in a great deal from BabyAge - doesn't get any better. :)

AWESOME PRICE!! QUICK SHIPPING
- Martin St John This is a great car seat and highly recommended. The seats arrived 2 days after I ordered them. Very friendly customer service! We will be shopping here again!

Great Seat
- Jessica Keating I spent a lot of time reviewing different options when choosing a second seat for my daughter. We had purchased a Combi Zeus Turn (which is still in my husband's truck) before she was born, but needed a second seat as I was returning to work. I did not want a second Zeus Turn, because although we are extremely pleased with it, it will really not hold her rear-facing past her first birthday, and I wanted something with a higher RF weight limit. This seat received very high ratings on a few car seat boards, and after reviewing the manufacturer website also I was convinced it was the best seat out there.
BabyAge.com has (by far) the best price for this seat. We received it only three days after placing our order, and have been extremely pleased so far. It was easy to adjust for our daughter, and ridiculously simple to install in the car using the RF LATCH setup. Even though it has no top tether option when RF, as the Combi does, it feels just as secure in the car. The seat is very well padded for comfort and support, and the fabric is plush. My daughter looks very cozy in it (even when sleeping, the side impact head supports and the cushy strap pads keep her head from slumping).
The only negative I will give it (and this is just an opinion as I have no personal experience with it) is that although it is rated for infants 5-35lb RF, there is no way I could see this seat being suitable for a newborn. I do not think the head supports or the harness straps will go low enough, and I do not think there is a sufficient tilt to keep them from being all hunched over. My daughter is 8 months old, and this seat is perfect now, and I can see it growing well with her. I would not recommend this as a first-buy seat for someone with a newborn...get an infant seat first and then switch to this once it is outgrown.

Excellent Product
- Amy Oakden This is the best car seat ever. It is easy to use, easy to install, and my son looks so comfortable in it. It is sturdy and well-built and looks like it would provide strong protection in an accident.

Love it!!!! Greatest car seat ever!!!!
- Hannah's mom My husband decided to buy a Recaro carseat for our daughter because he had a Mitsubishi Evolution and loved how the seats felt. I have to say, it was the best decision he made! Our daughter is protected and comfortable in this carseat. The head support is great when she falls asleep. Her head does not slouch. The seat looks great and feels great. There is a lot of cushion around all of the area. We just ordered another one for my husband's car. We definitely recommend buying a Recaro. Great product!!!

Great car seat, rock solid install
- Matthew We absolutly love this car seat. It fits in rock solid in our Subaru Forester (which are known for being tough to find a good fit). The seat is very well made, super comfortable, with great SIP. BabyAge shipping was super quick. We really couldn't ask for more!

Recaro Signo
- Marisela Sauza Purchased the Recaro Signo child seat to replace my 8 month old old Baby Trend child seat....Man what a difference! My son does not cry like he used to. He goes right into the chair with no problems or hassle. We can secure him with out tinkering with the restraint system...the best part is seeing my son being compfortable in his chair, and as a parents having peace of mind. He sits a little higher up, and he is able to see out the car window and he enjoys it.....this safety seat is a great purchase, and we are glad to have purchsed it...I recommend the seat to anyone

The best car seat ever
- Hella Racz I will just try this seat out. Ordered it for my four month old son, who grow out the regular infant carseat. I wanted something I can count on, and safe. This seat seems like that, and comfi too.

Comfy, safe
- Katherine As our daughter approached 1 year (and the limits of her Peg Perego SIP 30/30 Infant Seat), my husband and I cast about for a similarly safe, comfortable seat. Ultimately the tipping point for the Recaro, in addition to its impressive safety record, sturdy construction and obvious comfort, was the head support. We liked the idea that our daughter could fall asleep during long car rides in comfort with her head and neck supported.
When we received and installed the Recaro Signo, it did not disappoint. This is a well made, sturdy, safe car seat. And our daughter took to the new seat with glee.
We chose to installed the seat rear-facing in our Lexus RX 300 until our daughter reaches the 35 lb weight limit for rear-facing. The seat fits wonderfully in the middle of the backseat. Plenty of room in the back seat on either side, plenty of room for the front seats -- even room for the front passenger seat to fully recline!
We couldn't be more happy with our decision.

Better than Britax Boulevard CS
- Christine Grenney I own both. The one benefit to the Britax Boulevard CS is that the straps seem to get twisted less. Otherwise, the Recaro Signo is much better looking, just as comfortable and has all the same features. I think it's profile is a little bit smaller, so good for tall parents who need to put their seats back. My 10 month old is in the 97% percentile, and she's totally comfortable. Love it!

Worth every penny!
- Deanna Wong We have been using two Signo seats for over a year now, and we could not be happier with the safety, performance, or appearance (they still look like new). Although this seat is very easy to transfer from car to car, this third purchase was dedicated to Grandma's car. The safety of our 21 month baby boy is number one. The 5 point harness (to 70 pounds) and the easy shoulder strap adjustment (just turn the knob!) make this simple for grandma to use. It is a very comfortable seat, even on long road trips.

AWESOME product!
- Rochele Mackie, Nevada After originally being concerned about the price of this car seat while doing my reasearch, I decided on the Recaro Signo...I told my husband, thinking that he would have a problem paying that much, I was prepared to stand my ground...safety is #1, however I was pleasantly surprised when he responded with a, "hell yes"! What I didn't realize was that Recaro makes race seats. What guy wouldn't want his little boy riding in a seat designed and made by the same people who design race seats? If people in the racing world trust Recaro seats to protect their drivers, I can definitely put my trust in them to protect my little boy. When you order a Recaro, you know you're getting the best in safety.
We received our order on time and couldn't wait to install it. Originally we thought that we would put it on the passenger side of our rear seats so we could see him (we have captain chairs in our SUV) but the car seat is so large that it makes seeing out that window next to impossible and makes the already bad blind spots, worse. So behind the drivers seat is where it's installed. Also, we had to put a towel under the seat to make it level, but it states in the installation instructions that you MAY need to use a towel or a pool noodle.
Our lil Man LOVES his new seat! He still is rear facing because he's not 30lbs yet, but he was too long for his infant seat. He'll have much more room when we turn it forward facing once he's a year old and 30lbs. There is no mirror out there (that I've found) that will allow you to see your child while it's rear facing in this seat, but his coos and giggles let me know he's ok and happy. Once the seat gets turned around, seeing him won't be a problem.
Our Recaro Signo was manufactured during the time of the recall, however I checked the Recaro website and followed the instructions on how/where to check out our seat, it's perfectly fine...no defects to be found.
Overall AWESOME product so far.
PS - Thank you BabyAge.com for the great discount on this seat!

Very pleased
- First time parents The only complaint I have is that it's not super easy to get my daughter out of the seat when rear-facing. That may be more the fault of my small car (WRX wagon) than the seat. I haven't tried it in other cars. Otherwise, it seems to be a well-engineered seat with very comfortable fabric and cushioning.

Awesome seat
- Illan Levy OK, Dad likes to drive on a race track, so the Recaro name goes a long way with me. I was not disappointed. This seat is built like a tank. I think the baby is the most protected person in the car - and that's great. It was a toss up between this seat and the Britax, both are highly rated. My car sickness pushed me to the Recaro and I am happy. I saw the Britax in Babys R Us and think that the Recaro is a much better seat. It even fits my little 20 year old BMW (Recaro made the front seats in that one!). The LATCH system is great in my wife's newer car - better than the Chicco infant seat base, and the lap belt system works great in Dad's old car. The only down sides are that the seat is quite heavy and it is sooo padded that the little meatball can get hot.

Great Car Seat
- Kristy Kowalik I love these car seats. They appear very comfortable and they are very soft. The one thing is with the straps. I didn't think they could be so twisty, but they are. You have to make sure you loosen the straps all the way and lay them over the edges, and then they are ok when you put your child back in. I got the discounted price, received my seats (I ordered two) and neither were part of the recall. I feel like I got a GREAT deal!!!! I feel like my kids are in the best seats they could be in, and I love that the harness weight is so high---they will be safe for years to come!! I would recommend these to anyone!!

Great Car Seat!
- Rebecca S This car seat is definitly the cadillac of car seats! I love it and have had no problems with it

Good quality
- Michael Wu Very good quality and very easy to install

fantastic seat
- Jill Collins I have three children and this was purchased for my littlest. She is a large 5 month old who outgrew the infant seat. She is so safe and comfortable in this seat. It looks large when you take it out of the box however it fits great in the back seat of my mid-size SUV with two booster seats on either side. I have never felt such a high quality seat material and my little one loves to ride in it. The infant headrest adjusts easier to fit her and she is safe and secure. I wish they made these 7 years ago when I had my first daughter.

The name says it all
- Rob This is the second Recaro we bought... for the second car. Although it sits a bit higher than some of the others, the comfort and safety (not too mention peace of mind) is bar none, the best. Even the fact that our two-year old sits a bit higher, he is all the better for it, he can keep an eye on the road and learn as he goes. I highly recommend it: easy to install and made by race car seat experts (safety being top priority). The only draw back... cleaning the materials thoroughly means taking things apart. If you are not as thorough as I am, you can easily clean the surface material -- I just like making sure I get it all clean, including behind the covers. Good luck...

Comfortable, safe seat
- Heather P We installed the Recaro today, and my son loves it! He didn't complain being in the car at all today, and we were out doing errands for nearly four hours. He also took a nap in the car, which he very rarely does, and slept for more than an hour. Once we got out, he wasn't sweaty at all, and we live in South Florida, where it's easily 90 degrees in the summer. With his hold Chicco Keyfit he was dripping with sweat after a short ride. This is definitely a comfy, safe chair. The covering is very soft, and it's smartly designed, with little nooks and hooks to keep all of the parts in place when you aren't using them. I'm very happy with this.

Can't Have Seats Side-by-Side
- Clairene Maryann Guerra I bought a Recaro Signo for my 9 month old when his car seat was lost at an airport while we were flying across country. I was extremely pleased with how safe it felt, I mean I can't even get it to move 1/2 an inch now that it is all strapped in. So I wanted to buy one for my 2 year old because his Eddie Bauer car seat just did not feel very safe at all. I ordered it and 2 days later I got it from BabyAge, which I am extremely happy about. I went to install it in our truck and they fit fine side-by-side BUT since the latch clips are so thick on these, they wouldn't both fit on the latch bar. It was about 1/4 inch too small. And this is in a huge truck, Im assuming all latch bars are the same length. So I had to install my rear facing carseat not in the middle seat but behind the driver seat next to the window. I was extremely disappointed in this even though I still feel that these seats are very safe in them selves. I am going to buy a window protector so if God-forbid I was in an accident and the window breaks, it won't get all over my infant.

Perfect
- Lawrence Haskett This product is outstanding. Just what I expected from RECARO. The booklet that tells you how everything works is a little small, but I figured it out. Price is right. Pick up the other seats available, and you will know you made the right choice.
