Evenflo Chase DLX Booster Car Seat

Another jewel in the crown of the Evenflo booster dynasty. The Chase DLX is another safe seat that combines comfort and safety. It has all of the relevant features required of a car seat. It includes an internal harness, seat belt positioner and Comfort Touch padded armrests.

A key feature is the easy front harness adjustment. Parents can pull on the adjuster up front and the harness tightens to fit the child's needs. It also features Comfort Touch padding all over the seat. A cup holder gives the child a chance to be indpendent and take care of personal space.

Not especailly flashy the Evenflo Chase DLX Booster Car Seat gets the job done. It is not the shiniest jewel in Evenflo's booster crown, but it has as much value as any of the others.

	Please don't buy this car seat
	We purchased this as an occasional use car seat if I needed to pick up my two year old son if my wife had to work late. We had it for about 5 months when we started to realize that on the right shoulder strap there is a buckle that doesn't allow the chest scrap to be placed any lower. as our son grew he weights 30 pounds now the chest scrap couldn't be adjusted any lower and now sits very close to his throat. a very poor design by evenflo.

	good for daily use, less so for long trips
	This seat seems to be fairly comfortable for my 21 month son. Although the arm rests and snack trays seem to be a plus, they are far to easily removed. My child tends to remove them and want me to replace them while driving, so they have "disappeared" for the time being. The removable pillow pushed his head too far forward, so it also is no longer in use. The remaining seat seems good for daily use, but for long trips it has no side head support making it difficult for him to sleep comfortably. If you have the LATCH system (cars models 2003 or later)installation is fairly simple. Installing it using an upper tether along with the cars seatbelt in the lower area is a little trickier. The slot to slip the belt through is fairly small. The only other difficulty is changing the harness height. The metal fitting that hold the straps in place behind the seat are difficult to remove and replace. Just today I got a pretty nasty pinch on my finger from trying to get that little fitting in place.

	Great Car Seat
	I love this model. My son fits well in it and he is able to move around easily. The cup holder is a plus. The only thing that I have found to be a porblem is that the adjuster for the belts on the 5 point harness is to high up. When my son sits in the seat the adjuster is near his chin which bothers him. But over all, I definitely recommend this car seat to anyone.
