It's much more durable than I expected it to be. Not only does this set function as a table & chair set, my girl also likes to hide under the table and pretend she's taking an ark ride (there are holes at the sides of the table that works like windows to the ark! How creative! Only thing we weren't too glad about were the screws. There were a couple of loose screws (which wasn't assembled by us) which my hubby tightened hoping it doesn't fall out and before we knew it, the 2 screws pierced through the front side of the chair and it's now scarred :(
