Maxi-Cosi Priori Convertible Car Seat

I agree the straps need to be longer, but they work for my daughter who is almost 4, 38 inches and weighs 37 pounds. She is not small and she fits perfectly in the car seat, The straps are not as long as the other car seats but there is still room even when she wears a puffy coat and jeans. I also love the recline and the colors of the car seat.

i emailed and called maxi cosi several times, the 2008 and 2009 prioris are the same in terms of straps etc, the only diference is color

I have had this car seat for almost 2 years! It looks almost brand new, very durable! I like that it is NOT huge and can fit in almost any vehicle. The Britax, and many others are too big and are not always functional if you have other children to seat in your car. I recommend this carseat!! Well worth the money.

I'm so happy I bought this car seat! it fits great in my jeep, that was my main problem was finding a seat that would fit w/o having the passenger seat shoved to the dashboard. I love that there are so many colors to pick from. I'm thinking about buying another it is a pain to transfer from car to car.

I had the maxi cosi infant seat for my daughter. LOVED IT! I also have had great customer service! I had a problem with the canopy of the infant seat. They paid for postage to send it back and sent a new seat, not just a new canopy. Plus they said keep the car seat base... I ended up with two! This seat fits great in my car, the colors are eye catching too. I have the booster seat for my 4 year old son, it reclines too. I can't be more happier with the Maxi Cosi products. I own each one of their seats and they are all great! Worth the extra bucks!

We researched a bunch of seats for our 1-year old and had him sit in them as well. It's never been recalled, and was a nice secure fit in our small sedan. Seems like Well built and recline feature is nice for long rides. Packaging from babyage wasn't great though.

Just love this carseat. I researched many seats because I wanted something that I would be happy with. I have a 6 yr old, 4 yr. old, and 12 month twins. Easy to use....and it really does recline in the forward facing position.... while its hooked into the car. Unlike some seats that say they do....and really dont. Totally worth the investment.

Excellent Car Seat! My sweet son enjoys it very much! Very compfy!! He feel asleep within minutes!! =)

Love the carseat - great cotton lining and seems comfortable for our 8 month old. Also, seems to take up less room than his infant seat did in the car even when in the rear-facing position. Like the side holders for the straps, the buckles are easy to operate, and it even came with a cup holder!

I did a lot of research in order to come to the final conclusion of the Maxi Cosi Priori purchase. So glad I did! I only purchased from Baby Age because the website stated that they would ship on that day (Saturday). I thought "WOW! It'll be here in time for my trip!" Low and behold, this was a farse! When I called the company to find out where my carseat was, I was told that they do not ship on Saturdays and that they'd look into the web site so that it was not misleading to future buyers. My car seat was due to be delivered the next day. Well, the next morning I received a call stating that Baby Age had their address and Mine as the receiver so Fed Ex was unsure as to whom to send the package to...I waited YET ANOTHER DAY and had to take my 4 hour car ride without the new car seat for the baby. When the package finally did arrive, I could tell this was a carseat that had originally been purchased by someone else and returned. Thank goodness it was in good shape because there was NO WAY I was going to spend another moment on the phone dealing with Baby Age!! Buyer Beware!

It's gorgeous and looks comfy

well thanks to the comments by other buyers but Maxi fixed the problem and now the 2009 models have longer straps just purchased one and love it.
