Terrible customer service | I bought this seat for several reasons. I love that the seat reclines on its own track so you don't have to uninstall it to change the recline angle. This is a great feature for my daughter since we go on long car trips and she falls asleep in the seat. Also, the sides are wide enough that her head doesn't fall down when she does fall asleep. It feels like a very high quality seat, installs easily, and looks great.
The one problem we have is a really big one, though. The straps aren't long enough. My daughter is a little peanut, 29 pounds at 3 years old, and she has maxed out the length of the straps. There is literally no more length to feed through. We can't have a jacket on her in the carseat, even a light one, because she simply won't fit. Our other carseat is a Britax Roundabout and there is still plenty of length left on the straps for her to grow.
When I contacted the company about this, they were very unhelpful and said that I had to jump through a ton of hoops, send them pictures of my child in the carseat, and they won't replace the straps or refund our money. So, we're going to have to replace this carseat soon and probably have to buy another convertible carseat, NOT what I wanted to do. This wasn't a cheap seat. I'm very disappointed because with longer straps this would be a perfect seat. | | By: A. Loht 2/22/2008 | | | Write your own review and start sharing your opinion with others. | |
