We just received this carseat for our 7mth old son who was growing out of his infant carseat....its perfect! He is comfortable in the carseat and much happier than when he was in the infant carseat. The padding is decent. Considering that there are other carseats out there for $150 and more this is a wonderful bang for your buck!
Rated 5 stars  Great Seat - Robin Miller
I bought this seat b/c my 6month old had grown out of his infant seat but I wasn't ready to turn him forward. As soon as we used it we noticed a difference in him, in the infant seat he fussed the whole time but not in the safety 1st!
Rated 4 stars  Pretty good - Catherine
Great seat for the price. Only had it about a month and only drawback is that my 10month olds head falls forward when she falls asleep because the sides are shallow.
Rated 3 stars  Good seat for $ - C.J and Pate's mommy
I've had this seat for a year now and my son likes it. We do A LOT of traveling and he seems comfy but his head falls forward when asleep. Not uncommon I know but also the harness strap is not long enough to accomodate winter gear without being very tight and you can pinch legs if not careful fastening. Otherwise easy to clean, easy to move and fits tight, also fairly narrow for smaller cars and easy to get little people in and out of.
