	Works like a charm
	I've been using this seat in my Isuzu Rodeo for the past four months and have been very pleased with it -- which doesn't surprise me as I came to find it through a positive report by Consumer Reports. Since I have an older vehicle that doesn't accommodate the quick clips, I have to use the combo should/lap belt so installation is a pain. But that's nothing new as installing any car seat in this manner takes lots of time and patience to really make sure the seat is installed properly -- meaning the seat shouldn't move, wiggle, or slide around on the car seat. If it does move, you need to go back and tighten it down more because it won't pass inspection. The seat bottom has a good amount of cushion -- could use more but daily errand running and even short trips there's plenty to keep my daughter comfortable. The shoulder belt pads are longer and wider than those on other car seats I've had and they're easy to adjust so I don't have to worry about the belt digging into my daughter's shoulder or neck. The adjustment strap to tighten down the belts slides nice and easy so I can cinch it down with one hand. This is also really helpful for loosening the straps which also has a smooth release. My daughter really likes it -- specially the cup holder. In fact, we're buying a second one for my wife's car.

	SUPERIOR
	THIS SEAT IS THE CROWN JEWEL IN CAR SEATS. IT HAS ALL THE OPTIONS FOR THE MOST AFFORDABLE PRICE. MY SON IS SO PLEASE WITH THE CAR SEAT THAT HE SMILES EVERYTIME WE PUT HIM IN THE CAR SEAT. BRITAX IS TOO EXPENSIVE, WE PURCHASE TWO BRITAX AND TWO OF THESE AND BY TAKING BACK THE TWO BRITAX AFTER NOTICING NO DIFFERENCE IN THE TWO SEATS WE SAVED OVER $350 BY GOING WITH THIS CAR SEAT. WE COULD BUY 3.16 OF THESE SEATS FOR THE COST OF ONE BRITAX, SO WE BOUGHT ONE FOR EACH OF OUR VEHICLES. WHAT A BUY!!!!!! PLEASE BUY THIS SEAT, YOU WILL BE AMAZED WITH ITS SHEAR OVERALL VALUE AND PERFORMANCE.

	One of the best!
	We have used this seat for about two and a half years. It is well padded,and easy to adjust. For whatever reason, the straps on this seat never seam to get twisted. With six children all under the age of five, this seat has been used at different times by just about all of them. We do have multiple types of car seats in our vehicle, but I must say, this is one of the best. It is well worth the price.

	Wonderful seat!,
	This is a great carseat for a decent price! I bought this seat for my 2 yr old daughter last fall. I had a Evenflo Triumph and we were going to be going on a plane trip and didn't want to lug the heavy seat around....this seat is nice and light! My daughter loves it and was totally comfortable on the first 5 hr flight and the second 6 hour flight. We even used it in the terminal as a place for her to sit! I have had no problems installing it securely either in the airplane or in any of our cars, with or without latch. It does not budge not one inch and doesn't seem to be top heavy if installed correctly as some other consumers have stated. I do agree that it is a pain if you have to take the cover off to wash, but its no big deal. We love this seat!

	Not Happy
	After buying a newer version of this car seat in Feb of this year, I came to find out through a car seat safety expert - Cosco has the lowest rating for safety there is. This car seat is so top heavy that in a car without LATCH it can tip to the side, which happened to me while my daughter was in the car!!! Upon speaking with Cosco about the issue they suggested I twist my car seat lap belt 360 degrees to put it a full tension and hold it tighter. When I asked if this wouldn't incress snapping possibility in an accident the rep had no answer for me. Their other suggestion was for me to buy a kit, to install their "teather" strap, drill a hole in my back ledge of my car in search of a "pre-drilled" hole that all car companies have been putting in since 1989 and install this hook that would allow me to "teather" the top part of my seat to it. Completely not comfoprtable with installing after market saftey itmes in my car and told them that the car seat should be safe WITHOUT LATCH, and that customers shouldn't be required to buy added parts for their childs safety. Again the rep had nothing to say. The added parts are not talked about - and the on top of it all my daughter was rather uncomfortable in the seat anyway. I had to fight tooth and nail to be able to return the item because it was defective. COsco wanted nothing to do with my return and wouln't help me in any way. By the way - I have had my lap belts in my 1997 4 door Saturnm checked by 3 different mechanics and there is nothing wrong with it, the issue was entirely with the seat!

	i am very pleased
	We went to the store prepared to spend top dollar on a Britax Marathon and found this instead. We have been quite pleased with the result--the seat is advertised at 22-100 lbs, which is the biggest range we have found. We were told it could even be started at 20lb, the standard for most forward-facing seats. Our child loves facing forward and we anticipate that the seat will 'grow' with her. There are lots of variations in strap adjustment and it is easy to adjust depending on how thick the clothing is, etc with the child right there in the seat. Our only complaint so far is that when she falls asleep in the seat, her head tends to bob forward or loll to the side, and we have had to pad the armrests with blankets for sleep. The 'recline' feature does not seem to be a real option with the seat strapped into the car.

	great for a husky child
	I bought this car seat for my 5 y/o and we used it until he was 7. Most car seats rated to 100 lbs. are not wide enough to accommodate a child that weighs that much. This one will be appreciated by parents of husky children!!! The arm rests and cup holder were loved, and my son could latch himself in with ease.

	good buy
	We have owned this seat for two years and overall have been very pleased. I recently discovered that the screws holding the harness adjustment/headrest to the back of the seat would not remain attached. I contacted Cosco, and they offered to ship a new seat for no charge. The harness straps are easy to adjust, and my daughter loves the armrests and cupholder. I do wish that the sides provided more support when she is sleeping. The recline feature is simple, but the seat has to be removed to recline the seat. We have washed the cover several times, and it has washed and worn well. The seat is roomy and padded fairly well. The seat is rather bulky and heavy, but it fits easily into our mini van. I am considering buying the same seat again for our younger daughter.

	Difficult to install
	We purchased two of these car seats for our two year old twins. There were two major drawbacks that we encountered with these seats. First, the seats have no reasonable means of securing the lap/shoulder belt to ensure a snug fit. One must use a metal clip from the back of the seat and attach it to the lap/shoulder belt to secure the seat if one doesn't wish to rely on the tension provided by the lap/shoulder belt. The second issue is the clip that adjusts the length of the "over the seat" strap that allows tethering of the seat to a clip or hook in the back of the vehicle. The metal clip is almost impossible to adjust, tension, or loosen. We were able to install them the one time we used them, but not without much frustration and sore fingers. Life is much too short to waste time using these losers.
