Rated 1 stars  AWFUL- POOR DESIGN! - Walter, USA
While this swing appears to have nice qualities, it is poorly designed. The light up bar has to be in just the right position to work. You almost have to jerk it to move it up or down. Says it holds up to 22 lbs, and my 17 lb baby hits her toes on the floor when she is swinging. Lastly, the crotch strap is pre-positioned to far back so that you strap your child's thighs in and not her body! Since this is such a new swing, I'd wait till they make improvements before buying or find another portable swing!
Rated 1 stars  Dangerous! - K.G., Philadelphia, PA
I received this swing as a gift. It was assembled according to instructions and the first time i put my son in it (1 week old) the support bar on the left side of the swing came unattached from the seat and down went the seat, baby and all. If it had happened on both sides, i'm sure my son would have been badly injured. I returned it and got another, during assembly I realized that the anchor button on the new swing wasn't just faulty, it was MISSING! on the opposite side. So, two swings purchased, both had the same defect.
Rated 4 stars  Decent swing - Veronyka, Anaheim, CA
After two attempts at the Fisher Price Baby Papasan, we decided to try this swing because it was the only one we found with shoulder harnesses. (Our daughter loves to sit up in the swing and this made us concerned for her safety). It is a nice looking swing, has nice features. At times the music seems a bit loud and distracting, but our daughter loves the womb sounds. The cons to this swing were that once the batteries started dying, the music wouldn't work in cooperation with the swing, and you have to go to the backside of the swing with a screwdriver to change the batteries. The last thing is that it gets a loud squeak after about a week or two (this is the second one we've had that did this).
Rated 5 stars  Good swing - Jimmy, KS
This is a good swing whether you are looking for a newborn or older infant, it has a variety of sounds and music- which helps keep baby calm and comfortable
Rated 1 stars  Safety obviously was NOT an issue to Graco!!! - M. Stevens, USA
Let me explain why I think that potential buyers need to beware!1. UNSAFE HANDLE! This is my most major concern! The handle, although it has built in lights and moves fairly smoothly to different positions, has NO LOCKING mechanism on it! I put a small babydoll my daughter has in this swing, clipped it in to secure it and my son hit the handle and the handle swung down with force and smacked the babydoll's face about the nose area. I immediately gasped and said "WHAT IF" this had been my REAL baby? I then played around with the handle to make sure I had put it together properly, I had. The handle if you hit it hard enough, it doesnt take TOO much force will swing down to where the baby's face will be. I can see a bruised face from this easily!2. The weight limit says 22lbs, well I then put two small packages of diapers in it, weighing in a little over 13lbs and it barely moved! I replaced the batteries just to make sure and sure enough, it still barely moved!3. The music is garbled, not a nice flowing sound at all! Very, very mechanical!4. I did notice that it does not have any reclining positions to A: avoid the handle incident or to B: make the baby more comfortable and lie back easier when newborn. There is one position and that is up.There are good points to this swing are as follows:1. The colors are very bright and fun, the handle has a nice feature with the lights on it and the canopy has hanging jungle animals.2. The swing will fold pretty compact and it has a great ability to be taken places with ease. This is why I chose this particular product rather than a full size swing. Both my previous children had colic and could only be consoled by a swing. Toting around a full-size swing was a hassle, so this travel swing I thought would be my life-saver!However; this is NOT enough for me to compromise my childs safety with this product. I am VERY surprised Graco would put out a product like this! I am waiting for it to be recalled! I did contact Graco and they were not surprised with the handle incident. They said they have had several reports of that. They however; still believe this product to be safe. I believe this swing needs at the VERY least a handle locking mechanism!
Rated 1 stars  SWING NOT WORTH BUYING - Erika, USA
I wanted to buy a portable swing for my 1 month old baby. I got a Graco traveling swing as a gift and boy was I excited. It looked so cute and so small that it would be perfect for my apartment. I used it 4 times and the music stopped. Then a day later I used it then the seat would not swing anymore. I went to the store where it came from then I exchanged it for the same swing but different color. Well the first time my baby started to swing on it,the head support would not work and my baby's head was sloped down to the side. I had to put blankets next to his head to keep his head up. Then 2 days later the lights and the music broke. This swing is not safe nor does it work properly. It is very cheaply made. Another problem was that the lights for the baby to see is too far up for him to see. The toys that dangle is way too close for the baby to focus.I am going to return this and I hope I have better luck with another one.
Rated 1 stars  Grandmother - Catherine E. Young
I purchased this swing for my grandson who is 6 months old and he falls forward in it and if he wasn't fastened in,He would fall face first out of it!I am not pleased at all with this product!
Rated 3 stars  Ok - Michelle
I purchased this swing because we do a lot of travelling. Our son is almost 17lbs. and is 4 1/2 months old and the swing no longer can swing him. It lasted until he was just under 16 lbs. While we used it there were no safety issues and now he can simply sit in it in the kitchen while I cook. It was only $40 so I didn't expect it to be the best thing on the planet and there is a reason they call it "LITE". No consumer should expect a swing called lite to work forever. You should always use the safety belt in your swing and this is no different. Babies are constantly shifting the weight. It is a decent swing if your baby is under 15lbs.

I registered for and received this swing for my firstborn. He hated this swing. He was always slumping down in it because it does not recline back far enough for newborns to be comfortable. Then, when he got older, the swing would barely move unless I had it on the highest setting. The songs are awful and the sound quality is poor. The toys are pointless. The only pluses are the size and the portability.
