| | | User Reviews for Schwinn Mark 3 Bike Trailer | | | Write your own review | | | Decent, but has some drawbacks | We bought this bike trailer/jogger to take the place of an old-style burley trailer, and eliminate the need to buy a double jogger to save some space. The ride seems pretty good, though no shock absorbers like on pricey models. WE DON'T LIKE: Worst is the seat, which is literally on the floor of the trailer. My son, who is a small 3yr-old, jams his feet all the way up against the front. Also, there is no structure to the seat so the kids lean into each other, causing fights. We rolled a hand towel up and slid it in-between, and this support seems to have helped a bit. The strap clips are the absolute worst ever. Cheap plastic, difficult to unlatch. The trailer doesn't seem weather-proof, as there are spaces in different locations, so I wonder if the kids will stay dry in rain/snow. Also, space is really limited for cargo, a problem since I trail the kids to daycare with each of their bags plus mine. WE LIKE: Price... we couldn't afford the pricey models, and having a 2-in-1 is convenient. SO easy to switch from trailer to jogger. Customer service... ours arrived with a damaged wheel, and Schwinn sent us a replacement no questions asked. Great customer service. ALL IN ALL: Cheaper fabric, not the most cozy for the kids in terms of seat and straps, but they still like to ride in it and it gets the job done. If money wasn't an option, I'd go for a burley or chariot, but they cost at least twice what this one cost. | | By: Stacy 10/9/2007 | | | Write your own review and start sharing your opinion with others. | |
