	Evenflo Wide Spaces Swing Gate
	We have had no problem with this gate. We have had to change locations and have lost the hardware to secure gate to the wall. Where could we purchase replacement parts?

	Nice gate but...
	Gate is not as sturdy as you would think, but does the job well. Putting the gate together was as NIGHTMARE, screws broke off in the gate, drill bit broke as well. Took about 1.5 hrs to put together.

	THE WORST GATE
	I would like to write only one thing. It is the worst gate i ever saw. I installed it today. It made me so frustrated. Just logging here to write the review so that nobody else would have to go thru this punishment. THIS GATE SUCKS...I like to add some more details so people really know what is wrong with this gate:1) painful installation 2) flimsy (very flimsy) wood and joints3) it came off the hinges just when my daughter leaned and tried to pull it.4) most importantly, it could be dangerous since because of the above reason little kids could get hurt5) Evenflo should recall this product before it is too late and before it loses its reputation6) painful return since u have to take out everything off and put them in the box and go to the store just for this purpose wasting lot of precious time.7) PLEASE DONT BUY THIS.

	The best gate for wide halls and doorways.
	I like this gate, as much if not more than the model 1050 normal swing gate. I find the 1150 an effective gate for wide spaces and it really fits the bill perfectly for me. I feel that this is a safe, easy to use, cost effective alternative to the other more expensive gates. The only con I can see in it is the dry wall installation and to be honest that is a con in most gates on the market, none of them really come with the equipment for dry wall installation.

	DO NOT BUY THIS GATE!
	I purchased this gate because we needed one that opened and also would work for wide spaces. Not only can my son open it (he was 7 months old when we purchased it) by leaning on it but to make matters worse the gate fell apart this time and fell on him. I had already called Evenflo and they said that was the first time they had heard that a child could lean on it and it popped open. They said they would send us a new one. After another week or so with the old gate it when it completely fell part and fell on top of my little boy. I called Evenflo again because I had not received the new gate and told them that under no circumstances did I want the same gate again. This is a piece of CRAP! and Evenflo needs to address the lack of safety associated with this gate before someone is really hurt.

	A Good Gate at a Good Price
	This gate is pretty good. It's sturdy and opens wide. The one thing that I didn't like is that the gate is so wide that it sags when you open it. It closes easily and my kids can't figure it out. The wood is a pale tan and attractive. Overall, it does the job.

	A gate you can live with...
	We were looking for a gate for the bottom of our 48" gate. We have the Supergate V for the top of the stairs, but I didn't want it at the bottom (which gets used sooo much more) because it isn't really easy to open. So we kept looking & found this gate. It did take about 3 hours to install, but we had to do some work so we didn't mount it to our wood banister or the 4" floor molding (our home is 90years old & I didn't want to ruin any of the wood). Evenflo doesn't recommend if you have molding. So my husband mounted a piece of wood to the wall stud then overlapped another piece of wood all the way to the stair so we were mounting the gate to that instead of the molding & removed a little of the trim on the banister post so we mounted it to the post where the trim will hide the holes when the gate comes down. After that 'prep work' it 1 1/2 to install. The time consuming part is lining up the two pieces of the gate that overlap - they must be the same. The best part of the gate is that it closes so easy - our 10mo old son loves to climb stairs, so if he is near them you have to hurry to get through the gate. Not a problem, just squeeze & lift the latch & its open, swing it open & walk through, then pull it closed behind you & it latches. You don't even have to touch the latch to close the gate. All in all it is sturdy (I don't think I would use it with more add ons on the top of stairs though).
