Especially great for long trips! This has saved my daughter's seat a couple times. When she gets out of her normal eating habits, as often happens when she eats a lot of atypical foods on a long vacation, she becomes blow-out prone. With this in place, we're able to clean her up on the road side, change the dry-seat pad, and then she still has a clean comfy seat to ride in the rest of the way.
