I've used this with my daughter since she was a newborn. In fact it was the only thing to soothe her when she had colic. I would place her facing in towards me and she would go to sleep. Also great for taking the baby along while walking the dog, hiking, etc. The only complaint I have is that it can be difficult to get her in and out now that she's older. Also, now that she's almost 20 pounds it can strain your back if worn for more than 30 or 40 minutes. Otherwise great product for the price. No need to get other expensive alternatives.
