I have a 3 year old who just got potty trained, and when he goes potty, it gets under the foam ring. This wouldn't be a problem if the foam ring weren't porous. The ring soaks up whatever pee gets under it. And so far, I have not come up with any good way to clean it up. I can't wait to get a new potty chair!!! | | By: Jenny Gainer 10/29/2007 | | | Potty for girls | I like this potty because it was simple looking. It is something that the child will use the bathroom in. I wanted it to be clean looking and gender neutral. Here are the benefits or pros as I see it: 1. It was easy to put together 2. it will transition into the seat for the big toilet 3. It was sturdy and not at all tippy 4. It was easy to empty and clean. 5. It looked comfy (with the padded seat). The cons: 1. It's cushion seat. I chose this potty because of this seat however, the seat is removable and my daughter loved to take the cushion ring off and use as a crown. Although I would clean it well in between uses, it still grossed me out that she would put the seat on her head. It was a struggle to get her to stop doing it. 2. There was no storage area for toilet paper or wipes. I would recommend this seat with these things in mind. | | By: heidi 9/6/2007 | | | We returned this one... | My mother-in-law purchased this seat for our son, who is 18 months old. We got it home and put it together, and the seat is so small that he barely fit on it. He still had his diaper on when he sat down on it, but it looked like if he would have used it we would have had a mess on our hands. We returned it for a different seat with a bigger opening. | | By: shelmo 6/23/2007 | | | Write your own review and start sharing your opinion with others. | | | |
