I like this potty because it was simple looking. It is something that the child will use the bathroom in. I wanted it to be clean looking and gender neutral. Here are the benefits or pros as I see it: 1. It was easy to put together 2. it will transition into the seat for the big toilet 3. It was sturdy and not at all tippy 4. It was easy to empty and clean. 5. It looked comfy (with the padded seat). The cons: 1. It's cushion seat. I chose this potty because of this seat however, the seat is removable and my daughter loved to take the cushion ring off and use as a crown. Although I would clean it well in between uses, it still grossed me out that she would put the seat on her head. It was a struggle to get her to stop doing it. 2. There was no storage area for toilet paper or wipes. I would recommend this seat with these things in mind.
