The ear thermometer is is very hard to get an accurate reading with as it has to be placed very specifically in the ear canal. I end up taking multiple readings on my child before finally using it on myself just to try to figure out how to place it in the ear. Even then it takes multiple more readings to get it to come even remotely close to a normal temperature reading. I would definitely not recommend buying this one.
