This pillow is an ordinary full body pillow with 2 sides that support your front and back. It is not that firm and I understand that some people have different firm preference in their pillows. Luckily for me, it's perfect. I wish that the product came in more colors, rather than just white!

I really enjoy using this pillow. I'm only 8 weeks pregnant, but it's my second time around and I wasn't about to wait to get a good night's sleep. During my last pregnancy I used a snoogle, but this pillow beats it hands down! I love the added support of having it wrap all the way around my body, and the convenience of not having to role it over with me because it's two sided :-)
I am not, however impressed with the cool max pillow case. It smelled really strongly of chemicals when I got the pillow, and I was intending to wash it, but read on the tag to only spot clean. So I doused it with Febreze, which helped the smell, but not the texture. It's kind of like sleeping on a cheap matress pad as far as the feel and somewhat scratchy/roughness of the outside of the case go. My biggest disappointment, though, is that this cover NEVER feels cool to the touch like a real pillow case. So even though I am sure it's helping with my sweating issue because I don't seem to be as hot at night now, I wish it had that "cool side of the pillow" feel to it. I've ordered a regular pillow case from this site to go over the cool max case, and hopefully that will help with my texture issue, but still offer the wicking properties of the cool max fabric. Other than that one little bitty complaint though (and trust me, it's small compared to the benefits) I am delighted with this pillow. I'm 5'7 and it fits me perfectly!
Oh, and I do use a regular head pillow with it, although, I wouldn't have to because it's perfectly comfy without it too. It's a nice big pillow that helps me stay on my side, since I am a belly sleeper. I don't think it stays all that cool. I also think for the price, it really should have come with a pillow case or a better outside fabric, the outer cover is not to be desired at all.

I love this pillow because I am relatively tall 5'7" and wanted something that would work for my entire body. Some of the other pregnancy pillows looked like I would need to constantly readjust throughout the night. This pillow is huge and like a big pillow cocoon for your body. It makes it easy to flip from side to side and still be comfortable. However, like I already mentioned, the pillow is HUGE. It takes up half and sometimes more than half of our Queen sized bed. My husband is tall, 6'3" so he hates it and says he has no room. Also, there is no way to snuggle in it so as other reviews say- yes, its a bit of a marriage killer! Some weeks I love the pillow and other weeks it is too much pillow for me and I need to throw it off the bed and wedge a pillow between my legs. Overall, I am happy with it and don't regret my decision. I am almost 7 months prego now and I am starting to think no matter what you buy for pillows, etc there will always be a bit of discomfort...Also, not sure the cool max cover is necessary? When it comes it is very stiff and starchy, after you wash a few times, it gets softer but still not as soft as a regular pillow case.

I am now 27 weeks pregnant and am starting to have trouble sleeping at night so I was so excited to order this pillow. Though the design is a good idea, it is not very soft- in fact it is kind of itchy. After reading about the material on another pillow on this site I was going to return the pillow and order one made of more cotton, but they do NOT refund pillows! So I am forced to spend another $20 on a cover just so I can use the darn thing. Good design other than the fabric though.

It is wonderful! I like to sleep on my back, which I clearly can't do now (17 weeks) but I can roll onto the pillow, position my back, and still get the comfort from sleeping on my side that I used to get sleeping on my back!

I'm 20 wks pregnant and bought this pillow online at 4AM when my hips hurt so badly I could hardly stand it. I'm normally a back sleeper, and having to switch to my sides proved more difficult than I thought. I first bought the Boppy brand body pillow at Target, but it was too small and had no structure to it. This pillow has really changed things for me. The first night I had it I slept through the night and woke without pain. Also, the free 1-day shipping was a godsend.

The only issue was that the first morning after using it I had my shoulder cramping from incorrect position. Since then I have no problem. And I sleep all night like a baby:)

I am a back sleeper and being pregnant means...well no back sleepin'...with this I guess it tricks me into thinking I'm on my back so that I actually fall asleep! I've slept so much better in the almost week I've had it! My husband likes to prop up on it and my Bichon likes to snuggle in up at the head of it when I'm not it in. Hasn't relieved all shoulder issues, but I have tight shoulders and upper back anyway... so nothing new.

I bought this pillow early on (at 13 weeks). I rec'd it the NEXT DAY and slept "in it" that night. I say 'in it " b/c it hugs your entire body! SOOO COZY. I was a bit reluctant b/c of the "it takes up 60% of my Queen size bed" complaints, but honestly, it takes up only 1/2 of my Queen. I love it b/c it keeps my hubby on his side of the bed (kinda). It is so comfortable that now he (my hubby) wants one of his own! :)

I highly recommend the Coolmax Pregnancy Pillow. I got my $100 worth the first night! I have stayed cool with it despite living in Florida. My only compliant is that it literally takes up 1/2 of our queen size bed, and it annoying to make the bed with the huge pillow. But I would buy this product again! I love it.

I am 14 wks pregnant and last night I sleep with my new pregnancy pillow and is the first time I sleep comfortably since I became pregnant. I didn't even woke up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night! I woke up so rested and with no pain or aches in my arms from sleeping on my side, my back felt supported and my legs rested comfortably. My husband was happy I was rested in the morning and didn't mind so much that the pillow took a bit over half of our queen size bed. Highly recommended!

My husband order this pillow for me at 29 weeks pregnant because I was having really bad lower back and hip pain and I also kept waking up on my back and having problems from that. I would wake up 5-10 times everynight and tossed and turned to no end, waking up my husband everytime!! I've had the pillow for about a week now and have slept like a baby every night!! I am no longer tossing and turning or waking up on my back. My back and hips have stopped hurting and and I sleep soooo much better...not to mention my husband gets a good night sleep now too! I would totally recommend this pillow to anyone thats pregnant or even if your not and having trouble sleeping...Definately a great investment! Love it!!

Bought this for my wife (it was on her Christmas wish list). She LOVES it. Keeps her comfortable, and cool all night long. She loves that she can roll over at night and not need to move the pillow since it is the same on both sides. Only thing is it takes up litterally 60% of a queen size bed. Other than that, which is an acceptable sacrifice for me given that she is the pregnant one, it was worth every penny. While you can't purchase a pillow case for this, the description does not say that the COOLMAX cover zips off. We haven't put it through the washer yet, but finding out that it comes off for cleaning was an added bonus. Just wish that part was in the description.

"Very comfortable. Gets warm occasionally, but not bad. It is hard to turn over from side to side though. Acceptable substitute for my husband (he gets too warm). The only thing I dislike a little is that I paid extra to have the "cool" pillow (pregnant living in Arizona) and I don't feel like it's cool, was warm and sweating the first night I slept with it. I am only 3 months pregnant and already getting over-ly prepared for everything - including purchasing this pillow... I am so glad that I did! I love it and doubt I would go without after pregnancy as well! It is so absolutely comfy AND the feature keeping it cool is phenomenal! I have a tempurpedic bed, which is amazing, however, it can trap heat pretty easily so this pillow helps to offset that and I have not slept this great in such a long time!

I ordered this product when I was just 6 weeks prego because I was having such a hard time getting used to sleeping on my side, since I am a stomach sleeper. This pillow has helped tremendously. So, I quickly starting looking around for something that would help. I read the reviews on the Coolmax and the regular pregnancy pillow Babyage offers. I was worried about the material, because some of the reviews for the less expensive one said it was not soft enough, and I was concerned if my wife got too hot - hormones etc it would be a waste, so I decided on the more expensive one COOLMAX. In addition, I have had two back surgeries and suffer from chronic back pain, so I tried it out too. I especially like how you can prop it up if you want to sit up in bed watch TV or read. Its nice for that too.
Essentially, she likes it. Has not complained since getting it. I think it is a great product for pregnant or non pregnant people. it does stay cool, it is soft, my wife has been more comfortable sleeping with it and it gave me the support on my back and between my legs that I need to minimize pain. I think I may buy one for myself.

Pillow is supportive and very comfortable. My husband hates it because it provides "quite the barrier", but I love it as it allows me to sleep in cool comfort and I do not get all sweaty. I get to peek over the pillow at my gorgeous hubby and tap him gently on the shoulder and tell him what a stud he is and how grateful I am that he thought of buying me this wonderful pillow to support my growing baby belly. One night with this pillow and your back will feel good as new. I kept rolling onto my back during the night and I would wake up not able to move because my back hurt so bad. My hubby surprised me with this pillow and it definitely keeps me in place. I've also turned it upside down to prop up my feet. The only complaints I have are the pillow is huge. I have a king bed and it takes up a lot of it. It's also a little difficult to get in and out of it. I have to climb into it and then just kick it off the bed to get out of it. I used a different pillow with my first baby. It was "C" shaped and it did nothing for me.

So far my girlfriend really loves sleeping with this pillow. Before buying it she had lots of problems trying to get a good nights sleep. Now she is much more comfortable and can get a better rest. Also it really does what it says, Keeps you cool instead of hot and sweaty like other pillows.

This pillow is BIG- takes up at least 1/2 of our queen size bed. BUT, it's worth it! I am about 3 months along and pregnant with our first at advanced maternal age (will be 36 in a few mos). I am of normal weight and health. I have never slept on my sides too much, but found I have to now with a baby bump. When my hips started hurting from sleeping on my sides, my sleep quality went down. This pillow has done away with the hip pain, and feels like you are sleeping in a cloud. I like the back support, and the fact that I can lay on either side without flipping the pillow around the bed in the middle of the night. Sweet husband just curls up along side of it- I think it's actually comfy for him as well. Definately would recommend this pillow.

The pillow is amazing. I bought it for my wife. It is very large but the picture makes it a bit larger. Great material and very comfy. I'm hoping to get to use sometime after our baby is born

This pillow has worked very well for me so far. I am 23 weeks into my pregnancy and this pillow is allowing me to sleep through the night. I have a king size bed that it fits very well on, but if you have anything smaller than a king it may be too large.
The only con that I found is that it is not as hard as I though it would be.

My mom got me this pillow and I LOVE IT!! I am 18 weeks and know it will be even more wonderful as I get further along. It is so comfortable! Even if you only have a few months left in your pregnancy it is soooo worth it.

My wife was not sleeping well toward the end of her pregnancy, and spoke about being too warm at night also. Since she started sleeping with this pillow, I havent heard another comment about bad sleep. She loves it and says she will use it even after the baby is born.

I'm pregnant with twins and my bed was filled with too many pillows. It was getting hard to get in and out of bed with adjusting all the pillows. I replaced all my pillows with just this one. It's extremely comfortable and also makes it easier to get in and out of bed.

My wife is 27 weeks pregnant and having difficulty sleeping. After getting the coolmax pregnancy pillow the positive results were instant. My wife says she's better rested, and some of her aches and pains are gone. I would and will reccomend this product to any pregnant women.

I wish I would have invested in one with my first pregnancy. It is comfortable no matter what position you're sleeping in, and its soft. It doesn't feel cool, but it never gets hot. I'm only 2 months pregnant, and I have no regrets buying it so early - I'm going to get my moneys worth. It has also helped my back-a problem I only have when I am pregnant.

My wife is almost 7 months pregnant, and I got this for her for our anniversary. She loves it! She's sleeping better than she expected at this point thanks to the CoolMax pillow. I actually use half of it too when she is rolled over facing the other way. We highly recommend for the third trimester.

I have been very pleased with this pillow. It doesn't matter if I am on my back or side--all positions are comfortable. It's the first time I've slept peacefully (other than waking up to use the restroom).

There's a cover (cool max) on a pillow that comes off and can be washed, but I found the cover wasn't nice to feel. It was very scratchy. I loved the pillow though. I made my own pillow case.

Not really, that being said i do love it! Best buy I've ever made. I bought it before i got pregnant. I still use it over 2 years later. The extra money for this one with the cover isn't necessary. They sell one without the cover for cheaper. I don't notice being cooler, but i never tried the other version.

It takes a looooot of space! :) I used it a few days, then had to stop using it. I have a King, and felt uncomfortable, and it made me hot! I used instead a regular boppy pillow, which is smaller, but perfect for the tummy and long enough that you can also slide it between your leg for comfort.

We have a king and it takes up a good share of the bed, but the best thing in the world of a good nights sleep. I stopped using it around 8 1/2 months as even it did not help with sleep. But during those firsts months i just loved it. I also ordered and extra cover, but probably would have been just fine with one. They are both washable :)
