It beats using several pillows when you sleep. Everything stays in place. I agree with other people, the pillow could use a little more stuffing. The only downfall for me is the scratchy fabric the pillow is encased in. It makes a lot of noise when you move. I wish I could purchase a softer pillow cover. I love the pillow. Well Rested Mommy-to-Be May 3, 2012 I'm 15 weeks pregnant and been having trouble sleeping. Regular pillows just weren't enough. I LOVE this pillow! For once I can sleep a few hours (til my bladder wakes me up of course). But I have no trouble getting back to sleep :) The only problem I can see is that the pillow is very starch which will go away with time, it smells really bad (cause of the packaging) until you air it out a few days, and it should have a little more stuffing. But it's still good. I just need to use an extra pillow propped up under my head sometimes. But I still love this pillow. It's huge but we have a kind size bed so there's plenty of room. LOL, got the chocolate color one and hubby calls it the giant turd but it's all fun and games :) He loves that I can finally sleep most of the night too :) 5.00 rating Life Saver! I was trying to sleep with pillows all around me but they would move or I'd kick them off the bed...I finally broke down and ordered this pregnancy pillow and I LOVE it! It supports your tummy and back and being able to put the ends between your knees is a life saver for your hips. I was worried about the size because we have a queen bed but it fits just fine. Sheley March 29, 2012 Even though I'm early in my pregnancy (11 weeks), I started noticing I was having a hard time getting comfortable at night. It began around 8 weeks - I felt achy, woke up every couple of hours, and could never get in a position that supported my very well. I'm very happy I ordered the Cozy Comfort pillow because I finally can fall asleep and stay asleep for most of the night. I really like how you get support on all sides, especially when laying on your side. My favorite position is still sleeping on my back but using the pillow, I get more support under my legs and around my whole body.
The pillow has plenty of filling but I still use an extra pillow because I like my head elevated. I know some moms complain about getting hot, but I haven't experienced this much. I think that occurs more when sleeping on your side. It is quite large and takes up space in our queen sized bed - def would be easier for my hubby if we had a larger bed. Because I am not far along (2 pregnancy) I realized this would not work and found it to be very uncomfortable. I have been using the body pillow from I bought from Target and it suits me just fine. I would not be able to make it through my pregnancy without it (trust me, I tried), let alone get any rest without it. This was the best thing we've bought so far in terms of comfortability on my part. If Heaven were formed into a pillow, I'm certain I'm sleeping on it with this bad boy right here! It's great for not only sleeping, but for lounging & relaxing as well. You can use it to prop your body up in a comfortable way when you need to "calm down" after doing too much for the day, without having to shift twenty-something times & you can also use it as a prop for breast feeding (if you already have a baby) because it has a wrap around feature. I am almost 20 weeks pregnant with my second baby & my sciatica is awful. This pillow is a dream. It IS rather bulky but that's what I love about it. Only thing I would change is the pillow casing. Erin February 8, 2012 At around 5 months (1st pregnancy), I was starting to notice difficulty sleeping (lots of rolling over, painful hips from laying on my side, etc.). I am typically a stomach sleeper and laying on my side was not comfortable! This pillow has made sleeping much more enjoyable. It fits fine in a king bed (and takes up less space than the 4 pillows I was previously using); I actually disturb my husband less. I'm 5'8" (length is fine) and I typically sleep with my normal pillow on top of the headrest. I would definitely recommend this product for other women struggling to sleep during pregnancy! It takes some space, because my boyfriend was scared that he'll have to move out of the bed, we have a queen size bed, but it worked out good. took my doctors advice and "love "this pillow. i was hooked after the first night. it has helped my transition to my side , its helps the rls it gives me back support and is great to cuddle with. i ended up sleeping with it upside down and using my own pillow as i have a temperpedic, really cuz the pillow is so bif and took up my kittys fav corner to sleep. it does make the leg portion longer and that helps me. im 5"4.it stays cool, you dont neeed the cool max one plus the reviews say its cratchy and if youre gonna cover it anyway theres no point spending the extra money. it is big, i recommend a king bed if you have a partner in bed.
but i would highly recommend it for rls or any type of ra or muscle , arthritis. it alsoputs me on my side, giving the best possible blood to the heart which is important for heart patients. i did a lot of research before committing to buy this and it paid off, its awesome!!!!! 5.00 rating LOVE IT! be careful washing though! Rusti December 28, 2011 I received this as a gift during my first pregnancy 3 years ago and it made a HUGE difference in my quality of sleep, so I started using it right away during this pregnancy (almost 20wks along now) and I've always kept the protective cover on (which saved the pillow from my toddler's bedwetting accident a week ago) so I've never been concerned about washing the pillow itself. While uncovered though, my toddler was sick and the pillow required washing. I machine washed it - as it says that is okay to do, but the washing machine tore the outer material to bits... I now have a bunch of stuffing partially held together by the outer material, and I'm hoping to be able to somehow get it back into the protective cover and still use it!! March 25, 2011 I did tons of research and decided on this pillow due to the many other reviews. I chose this pillow over the Comfort-U- body pillow because it is "smaller". I can tell you that if my husband and I had a Queen sized bed instead of a King, I would not enjoy this pillow. It is very comfortable and has reduced all my neck and back pain. I am currently just starting my 2nd trimester and not really showing yet, so I'm not sure on the belly support. Everything else seems to be supported well. I go from my back to each side and sleep much better than I have in a long time. I'm 5ft 6inch and I weigh about 150 and it fits me perfectly! My husband and I usually fall into bed exhausted so we're not much on cuddling. If you are a big cuddler, this may not be the pillow for you. I was worried about the pillow coming with a strange smell, but as soon as I washed the cover, I noticed no strange odors. I read through all of the reviews and noticed no one was as tall as I was but no bad reviews either. I have pillow for about two days now. I am 6'2" tall and 5 months pregnant. Another factor is that I live in Arizona. Well it is hot with this pillow even with the AC on. I would say I expected more, but that coming from a belly/back sleeper, I am not sure if there is a pillow out there that would make me comfortable. The fabric is sturdy (some would say rough) but I believe it will be more durable that way. At this point I am still not sure if the pillow is not doing much for me, or if it is my height that is not letting me experience all the wonders the rest of the 185 reviewers are talking about. I hope as my pregnancy goes along that I will experience those wonders (let's say I wish for it). I tried the bottom to be up but then the wings of this pillow hit my neck, but If I put the wings down then they are not getting to my knees :-( . 5.00 rating So glad I got it early! It seems a little expensive, but once you compare prices to other pillows it is really not that bad. I purchased this pillow at about 6.5 months of pregnancy. I wish I would have found it sooner! My hips were throbbing and I would wake up multiple times during the night in pain before this pillow. Now, seriously - I only wake up to go to the bathroom. My hips no longer ache like they did. It's great. I have found that I am having an easier time remaining on my left side during sleep and haven't been waking up on my back or in other awkward, back-pain-causing positions. My husband has even enjoyed snuggling on the backside of the pillow----he is able to touch me without succumbing the "blast furnace" of heat I produce which has prevented him from snuggling me since I've been pregnant! :) It is not quite as full or plush as it appears in the photo, but I find this to be a good thing. It takes up half of the bed (not the 3/4 that it seems to in the picture). I am able to use the "connector" portion of the "U" as a replacement for a normal pillow and sleep just as the picture shows the model sleeping. This has been an exceptional purchase that I am very glad I did not wait to receive at my baby shower through my registry. Buy it and you will not regret it! When mine first arrived it was covered in coarse fuzzies that looked like some of the stuffing may have squirted out. I tried the pillow as is and the cover is very rough and itchy. Once I covered the pillow it was absoltely amazing and it really helps me get some sleep at night! I slept right through the night without waking up. Usually I toss and turn for about half an hour before I can get comfortable but with this new pillow, i fall right to sleep! It is a very good investmant. My only suggestion would be to include some kind of fleece pillow cover because it can get pretty cold. I have been using it since the middle of my 3rd month and am now in the middle of my 5th month. Before I got pregnant I used to sleep on my stomach. Then, right after I found out I was pregnant I favored sleeping on my back for some strange reason. This pillow has allowed me sleep comfortably and also prevents me from rolling onto my back or the baby. I am picky about my pillow so I still use my usual head pillow and just turn the pregnancy pillow the other way around (so the head of the pillow is at my feet). I find this arrangement I can use my own pillow and I can easily get out of bed when I have to pee in the middle of the night. Plus, the cats use the head part of the pillow for their personal cat bed at the foot of the bed. This pillow is great for keeping you off your back and is super comfortable. I usually sleep on my back and my stomach - but of course I can't do that anymore. This pillow helps keep me on my side for the health of the baby and it is so very comfortable. I then got online and found this product. I thought it looked much more supportive than the one I was using. I've used it for the past two nights and its the best I've slept since I discovered I was pregnant. Its very supportive and soft. I love this pillow and am so happy I bought it. I've only had it a few days now, but I've been sleeping so much better since I don't have to get up and adjust individual pillows that have fallen out of place. When I wake up, my hips and back feel great and nothing goes numb while I sleep.
I also find that it has just the right amount of "fluff" and "firm" to keep you comfy, but fully support your back, belly and neck.

No tossing and turning, no muscle aches, and my back/hips were fully supported. (To be honest, I was so overwhelmed that I started to cry tears of joy and my husband thought I was losing it.) Since then, I've used the pillow every night. My aches and pains are gone, and I'm able to sleep well and feel truly rested in the morning. I love it!! As stated in other reviews, the supplied cover is a little rough, but it's easy to place a soft sheet over it. The one problem that I do have with the pillow is that it is already getting flat. I remember reading about this problem in several of the reviews. The tummy/back support makes sleeping so much more comfortable than the pillow I used with my daughter's pregnancy. The cover is easy to take on and off for washing. I love the contours in it that mold to the ever-changing pregnant body and it is nice and soft. I would say the only thing I really don't like about it is how big it is. My hubby can barely fit on the bed, but if I face away from him, he can snuggle with the side I'm not using.
In general I sleep with satin pillow cases, but didn't want to make one for this pillow, and haven't found the fabric to be that bad. SAA November 10, 2008 I was very confused about whether to buy a pregnany pillow - but it became clear in my 7th month that sleeping w.out some sort of body support would be hard. The standout feature of this pillow is that you don't have to turn it with you when you change sides - which any normal person will do when sleeping.
I don't think the 'shoulder support' feature is particularly well done - but the pillow is pretty well-filled w.out being stiff or heavy. So, given that pregnany has also given me a permanently dry and stuffy nose which makes it hard to breathe when lying prone, I just added an additional pillow on top, which allows me to breathe easier and not have my shoulders get stuck in the keyhole that the pillow forms.
I don't think the pillow cover is particularly rough or of poor quality. It is fine and does not itch or anything.
Overall, there's no question that I have slept more peacefully since I got the pillow. For someone who hated the idea of not being able to return it, should things not work out, I am super relieved the gamble worked! It's bulky, so not easy to fly with, but I just pack it into one of those red/white/blue zipped bags and throw it under the plane.
I am the envy of my husband and friends. I use the pillow to prop myself up when watching TV as well as for sleeping. I do find you need an extra pillow under the head but that's a small price to pay for everything else it delivers.
The full support you get still allows me at 8 months pregnant to sleep on my back without any pressure to my spine. This will certainly be a gift for my next pregnant friend.

When I first opened it it didn't look like much. And when you lay your head on it the stuffing in the middle pushes out to the sides. Its very soft and squishy, and it takes up a lot of room on the bed. I wish it was more firm, as the main reason I bought it was because of my shoulders hurting from laying on my sides so much (im a back sleeper). I use it with an additional pillow for my head. I admitt that I am sleeping more I think mainly because of the back support, and it's great that you can just fold up one side to get up to go the bathroom in the middle of the night. However, I don't use the square end for the pillow, I actually have that down at the bottom between my calves, as I already have a pillow for my head that I love. I haven't noticed any flattening. I suffer from Sciatica, back & hip pain, as well as indigestion. This pillow has been an answer to my prayers. I had not been sleeping at all before receiving this pillow. Now, I sleep so soundly. It is extremely easy to turn over in as well as get out of bed for those middle of the night trips to the bathroom. I'm in my 7th month and wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money on a pillow I might only use for 3 months. However, this pillow will be with me as long as it lasts. I can use it perfectly for nursing and because I suffer from back & hip issues when I'm not pregnant, I think this is great for those issues.
This pillow is everything it states that it is and soooo much more! I can't recommend this pillow enough. It will make your pregnancy and sleep so much better.

After reading reviews for the various available double-sided pillows, I decided on this one because reviewers of some of the other ones had warned about the firmness of the head pillows (I like soft pillows). This pillow is great!!! Although my husband calls it "The Beast" (it does take up a good portion of the bed), it is like being wrapped up in a supportive cloud. The head pillow is not too firm or high. I'm normally a back sleeper with arthritis in my hips & wasn't excited about sleeping on my side with the pregnancy, but this pillow has made sleeping a non-issue - it is truly amazing. I'm more comfortable than I have been in years. Also, the sides flip up and stay up easily for snuggling purposes, and the many trips to the bathroom. Plus the cover zips off and washes up nicely. I'm 5'9" and it fits me just fine and gives me the back, belly and leg support that other pillows can't (because they're the wrong shape).
