Mountain Boy Sledworks Citrus ScooterRemember when Michael J. Fox ripped the box off the old scooter to make a skateboard in Back to the Future? Mountain Boy has re-created the classic orange-crate scooter that was so popular in the 1940s and 1950s. It's stronger than the original, with a solid birch deck, a sturdy pine box and a hand-carved willow handle. And it uses skateboard trucks instead of roller skate wheels. The scooter is decorated with vintage artwork - add tin cans for lights and bottle caps for decoration. Mountain Boy uses only stainless-steel bolts and coats all surfaces with a lead-free marine-grade finish. The Citrus Scooter meets all ASTM and USC child safety criteria.
