we ve been using this rail for couple of weeks now and we love it. i usualy take it off during the day, so my daughter can use the bed without climbing over it. and at night she always leans on it and there has not been any problems.

This is perfect for our convertible crib. Was easy to assemble and is easy to install too. We moved it to the head area so she can get out of bed at the foot. It is stable and keeps her in bed!

We were in desperate need of something that would keep our eighteen month old safe after we unexpectedly had to convert his crib. This product is just right! He's not had a problem with climbing out safely since we installed it!

How does this install under neath the mattress? I have one already, but to keep it in place it is held by a piece of plastic with rope to it that adjusts that isn't very sturdy at all. When my daughter leans up against it while she is sleeping it comes apart from the mattress which causes it to fall and wakes her up because she falls out of bed. It defeats the purpose of having it.

While I found the installation completely difficult, mine has no problem staying in place. I think I ended up doing it a bit different than they wrote because of the lack of clear directions. I have the plastic thing pointed down on the far end of the mattress, with the straps pulled as tight as can be. I removed the mattress once I had the entire apparatus put together and tightened it on top of the mattress before placing it down on the frame. Then I placed the mattress on top, placed the plastic thing down, retightened the straps and attached the bar. Hope you are able to
