KidKraft Avalon Chair

I was looking for some wooden chairs to go along with a table I had purchased on sale at the PBK store. Naturally, the chairs at PBK would be perfect - if I wanted to spend $300 for 4 chairs (shipping and tax)! I found these chairs through a google search and thought they would be the perfect chair to get the look I wanted. I ordered 2 at first to check color, size, etc and they were great! Easy to assemble and very sturdy AND a great cranberry color. Ordered 2 more and they arrived in 2 days with FREE shipping - doesn't get much better than that. I have sat in this chair, my husband has stood on it to reach something and it is sturdy as can be. Get these chairs - you won't regret it.

I have posted a review for this really nice and sturdy Avalon Blueberry chair, regarding quality, assembly, appearance, color....For some reason my review appears under the Avalon Vanilla table, which I also reviewed. The chair is excellent, sturdy, all wood, nice finish...Had some problems with the one I received, probably got a lemon, as finish was not even with minor scratches.... customer service agent Theresa, was very helpful...in just a few days I received a replacement and this one is perfect! Thank you!

Great sturdy chair for older children, all wood. Will use it as a desk chair for my 1rst grader. Easy assemble, you just screw the seat and 2 legs. Blueberry: a dark blue, very similar to Pottery Barn's navy, but not exactly the same. You can get away with it if items are not placed against each other. Although I would prefer to buy the PB chair to have an exact match to my son's bed, the price difference (almost double, PB is $70+S/H +tax) does not easily justify such a decision. Quality: My chair came with the wood on the back side being a little rough, with minor scratches. Now waiting for a replacement. The rest was fine, smooth, no problems, so I tend to believe that I got a bad part. Both BabyAge and KidKraft when contacted, seemed helpful, so I hope to solve this at no pain. If not, I will update my review accordingly.
