As you change it to the day bed, you will be able to use a twin size mattress and bedding. Since it?s a 4 in 1, it will transform into a full size bed when your child is ready for it, too. It is aimed to grow with your child which is a great benefit to this crib. While its in the toddler and day position, you are able to use your crib mattress. Once it becomes a full size bed, you will need to purchase a new mattress as well as the conversion rails.
