Cosco Summit High Back Booster Car Seat

We have used this seat for about two and a half years. It is well padded,and easy to adjust. For whatever reason, the straps on this seat never seam to get twisted. With six children all under the age of five, this seat has been used at different times by just about all of them. We do have multiple types of car seats in our vehicle, but I must say, this is one of the best. It is well worth the price.

THIS SEAT IS THE CROWN JEWEL IN CAR SEATS. IT HAS ALL THE OPTIONS FOR THE MOST AFFORDABLE PRICE. MY SON IS SO PLEASE WITH THE CAR SEAT THAT HE SMILES EVERYTIME WE PUT HIM IN THE CAR SEAT. BRITAX IS TOO EXPENSIVE, WE PURCHASE TWO BRITAX AND TWO OF THESE AND BY TAKING BACK THE TWO BRITAX AFTER NOTICING NO DIFFERENCE IN THE TWO SEATS WE SAVED OVER $350 BY GOING WITH THIS CAR SEAT. WE COULD BUY 3.16 OF THESE SEATS FOR THE COST OF ONE BRITAX, SO WE BOUGHT ONE FOR EACH OF OUR VEHICLES. WHAT A BUY!!!!!! PLEASE BUY THIS SEAT, YOU WILL BE AMAZED WITH ITS SHEAR OVERALL VALUE AND PERFORMANCE.

We bought this seat as it's the only one I could find with a high rating from consumer research. It seems to be well built, the straps are easy to adjust, and my son loves it. It is well padded, unlike some others. The head rest slides up to match his height. The chair has three positions: fully upright, less upright, and slightly tilted back. I like the middle position. The arm rests fold up and there is a slide out cup holder. The seat has the LATCH system. I researched a lot of seats, and this is the best I could find and Baby Age had the best prices over all the other stores I looked at, on line. The shipping was fast and the box and seat were in perfect condition.

I purchased the same exact car seat two years ago. I had to buy (2) new car seats because my grandsons and myself were in an accident. The Cosco Summit car seats which were previously purchased protected my twin grandsons from being injured in the accident. My insurance company insisted on replacing them due to the accident we were in. I love this seat so much that I wanted to purchase the same car seat again. What I like most about the car seat is the adjustability of the shoulder harness height. I love the arm rests, the cup holders, the width of the seat base, but most of all the security this seat provide. I highly recommend this seat for it's safety.

My son had outgrown his infant convertible car seat, and even though he technically meets the age and weight requirements for a 30-100 lb adjustable back booster seat, he is just too small for it. The Cosco Summit High Back Booster Car Seat is a great next step. Much more room than the convertible seat, but much safer with the 5-point harness and LATCH system. He will be able to use this for a while, with his regular seat belt booster seat being saved for when he's much older, bigger and not swimming in his seat.

My child is barely 1 year old. She doesn't like car seats, but this one seems ok to her. She likes that she can sit upright and has the arm rest to play with. Installing the carseat wasn't hard as long as you follow the instruction manual. The only problem with the car seat is that it is not made for a sleeping child. There is no place for her head to rest on while she sleeps. You would need to invest in a travel pillow for your child if you get this car seat. Other than that, this car seat seems pretty decent. We've only had it for about a month now. Can't comment on how durable it is though.

I've been using this seat in my Isuzu Rodeo for the past four months and have been very pleased with it -- which doesn't surprise me as I came to find it through a positive report by Consumer Reports. Since I have an older vehicle that doesn't accommodate the quick clips, I have to use the combo should/lap belt so installation is a pain. But that's nothing new as installing any car seat in this manner takes lots of time and patience to really make sure the seat is installed properly -- meaning the seat shouldn't move, wiggle, or slide around on the car seat. If it does move, you need to go back and tighten it down more because it won't pass inspection. The seat bottom has a good amount of cushion -- could use more but daily errand running and even short trips there's plenty to keep my daughter comfortable. The shoulder belt pads are longer and wider than those on other car seats I've had and they're easy to adjust so I don't have to worry about the belt digging into my daughter's shoulder or neck. The adjustment strap to tighten down the belts slides nice and easy so I can cinch it down with one hand. This is also really helpful for loosening the straps which also has a smooth release. My daughter really likes it -- specially the cup holder. In fact, we're buying a second one for my wife's car.

i was little difficult to install becuse of the top strap. the headrest in my car does not come out, which makes it hard to get it flat against the car seat. it was a great price and the harness has lots of adjustments so it will fit your child comfortably

Easy to install and use. Great price but the cushioning is very thin and feels like it would be uncomfortable. We had ordered two and decided to keep one in my husband's car, which isn't used very often. My in-laws switched with us for the second so we now have a Graco convertible booster seat in my car. Much cozier!

The recline allows toddlers to sleep or nap comfortably. We just went on a 1700 mi (one way) trip. My only concern is while riding and changing it into a reclining position, I wasn't positive I had the seat as secure as it needed to be as the whole base tended to slide away from the back of the truck's seat. (Possibly due to the straight back nature of the backrest in King Cabs) Needless to say with the miles we needed to cover we didn't stop much at all. The position changes also were enough to help refocus our granddaughter onto other activities where otherwise I know she would have been wanting to get out.
