I was worried I would sacrifice performance or comfort by going organic, but decided to try it because my son is very sensitive to chemicals. However, so far I am very pleased. The pad is made out of soft, comfortable material and has washed very well twice (just got it). It is also very smooth so does not make uncomfortable bumps in the sheets like some other mattress pads do.

I am online now to buy my second organic waterproof mattress pad for my daughter. Just got one for my son at first to see if I liked it due to the expense. Love that there is no pvc, etc. Hasn't seemed to shrink much and it stays in place pretty well with the straps. I certainly haven't found anything better.

The mattress was everything it advertised itself as. I am in my third trimester and EASILY lifted the box it was shipped in to bring it inside. When we unwrapped it, there were no nasty fumes coming from it - we didn't have to air it out at all! It fits perfectly in our Graco Somerset Convertible Crib, without any bowing or scrunching up in the corners. It is plenty firm, and sprang back immediately when my husband tested his weight briefly on it. I would definitely make this purchase again!
