3.00 rating Ok but... By C Malloy

We just puchased this seat (two of them) for our daughter who is 15 months, 19 lbs and 30" tall. We want to keep her rear facing for atleast 2 yrs, like they now recommend. This fits rear facing on the passenger side of our 2004 Toyota 4Runner but NOT our 2009 Chevrolet Impala. It doesn't fit rear facing in the Impala at all. This will be shipped back and we are purchasing a Maxi Cosi Priori to use rear facing in the Impala. Consumer Reports rates it as one of the best for fitting rear facing. It has a max weight rear or forward facing of only 40 lbs, but it should fit rear facing which is what's important now. We will keep this seat for the Toyota 4Runner, it fits well, both rear facing and forward.
