We are highly satisfied with this car seat. The materials used are incredibly soft and comfortable to the touch, yet very durable and supportive. The small details, such as the padding on the shoulder straps and the ease with which the angle of the seat can be adjusted become key features since they have been so successfully implemented. This is especially true for the 5-point harness, which fits snug and comfortably and even includes a soft fabric "shield" between the child and the buckles to prevent any accidental pinching. Love it!!! I would recommend this seat to anyone! Our other choice was the Diono Radian, but we are so pleased to have gone with the Recaro instead and we won't be changing our minds.

Good - A bit slim and a bit on the tall side, making it great for smaller cars. Good features with a great range in versatility.. Solid build and nice looks.
Bad - Slim design means more snug. Don't have much room on the shoulder and hips. A bit pricey. Hard to find and test out in stores.
Vehicle used with - Honda Accord ('00), Toyota Matrix ('09)
Time used - almost 6 months

Overall - Great product. I'm mainly driving a Matrix and its currently setup in a rear facing position tilted back fully in the middle of the backseat. I can still lean my seat pretty far back without having to adjust the Recaro, about 45 degrees. My son is 1 year old and weighs 21 lbs. He's slim making it perfect for this. My wife usually sits behind there with him and has no problem with space.
It's very easy to adjust the headrest with the knob in the backside, If you have multiple child riding different times. I've used it forward facing with my niece (in a Honda Accord and she's a 3 yrs old, 30 lbs).
So if you think space, ability to tilt back your driver seat, solid build, and ability to grow with your child is a priority to you, then definitely check this out.

This is a wonderful car seat. Its not bulky and heavy like others. The fact that you can adjust the straps while your child is sitting in it is the best thing next to safety. I feel my child is very safe and she loves it. We got it for our second car too. It was so easy to install that I ended up over thinking it because I just didn't think it could be so easy. I love this seat and recommend it to everyone. The Britax gets good reviews but since this one isn't sold in stores, it gets overlooked. A great seat all around!
