Recaro Booster Seat | The Recaro Vivo is Rated a "Best Bet" for Safety

The seat is outstanding, first class, great fit and design. I bought the Black and Grey one first because it looks better but my 5 year old griped about the mesh material on the seat, arms and face area. It was abrasive. Shipping back was too expensive so I asked Baby Age to check Midnight Desert model for mesh. The cover on Midnight Desert is all Microfiber and soft. While it will show dirt more, it was a hit with my kid. So if you kid wears long sleeves and jeans all the time, all three Vivos are outstanding. For everyone else, I can only recommend the all-cloth no-mesh Midnight Desert version.

Purchased this after much research, and cannot believe we used a lesser seat for almost a year. The quality of this seat is first class: sturdy, stylish, safe! We will be adding another Recaro seat soon to replace an older, lesser booster.

I ordered this only due to the great reviews( the low price tag had me worried). I was very pleased with the quality and the ease of installation.

As stated above, everything was great and it arrived sooner than expected. By comparison, had ordered some chinos from Banana a week earlier and they only beat this by a day. Not bad considering the size difference of the boxes. Would definitely order from them again.

Intelligent design comes from people who like their jobs. I don't think many engineers want to design car seats when they grow up. However, I think some might really want to work for the worlds largest racing seat maker. So when they are tasked with making a car seat they make it awesomer then the bored guy who took whatever job he could.

I just received this booster. It is extremely well made, sturdy and looks like it would offer excellent protection in an accident. My only problem (I am returning it) is my four year old is tiny. She is 37 inches exactly and 30lbs. This booster would not adjust small enough, so the shoulder belt was acrossed her chin and neck. I think it would best fit a child 40 inches or larger despite the 37 inch size guide. I am very disappointed that we had to send it back. I would definitely recommend if your child isn't tiny.

Wow that was fast shipping it arrived in one day at no extra charge. The seat is exactly as described and very comfortable and safe for my daughter. Also when she fell asleep it supported her head well. The lapbelt part is nice because there is cutouts to hold it securely . I would recommend buing this it is a safe well built comfortable seat. Great value for the price :)

I researched safety stats on boosters and this one is highly rated. Recaro makes racing car seats, I didn't know that until my husband told me. So these folks know a thing or two about safety. I LOVE this seat. It's stylish to boot. My son is comfortable and safe which is my highest concern. Also love the head rest. When he does fall asleep in the car, it's like a custom padded head rest for him so his neck isn't bent from his head falling over. ITs FANTASTIC. Would definately recommend to others, and will be buying a second one for our 2nd car.

After days of looking up reviews on all different kinds of booster seats, I bought two Recaro Vivo booster seats. I found it easy to install in both cars. My daughter loves her new seat and feels like a big girl. I know she is safe b/c this seat is rated very high in all aspects. There is no need to look anywhere else.

Although this booster seat looks awkward, I really feel that my daughter is safe. We came from a Britax carseat so I was looking for the same safety and quality. I think this is a winner in both categories.

I purchased the red & black seat. It's very well made, and the colors are great. The side impact head rests provide great support when the child is sleeping, as well as providing accident protection. It's very light weight. and easy to install. I recommend this booster seat!

While I've only used this seat for a short while, it has been fantastic! My son loves it--so does my daughter (who's 9 and a little jealous!). Easy to use and nothing to assemble. Got here in two days with free shipping as well!
