5.00 rating Great Narrow Carseat By Kathryn Smith
December 7, 2012
I needed to be able to fit two forward facing car seats and a booster in the back seat of a 2000 Honda Civic. This carseat, a Britax Boulevard, and a bubble bum work like a charm. It's easy to buckle and my son seems comfortable. It did seem heavier than I expected and heavier than my larger Britax. Being heavier isn't necessarily a bad thing but I was surprised by the weight.
Customer Q&A
Anonymous asked:
I have a 96 toyota camery so will need to use the lap belt. Does this car seat install easily and tightly into old cars?
Staff Answer:
When using this seat as the booster, it will fit securely with the lap belt. When you are using this as a rear facing car seat however, the you will need the LATCH system to keep this item in place securely. This seat features expandable sides and a longer seat bottom for leg support and comfort, as well as 2 recline positions, and 5 shoulder and 3 buckle positions for custom fit. If you were looking for a booster seat that will be compatible with only the lap belt in your car, the Evenflo AMP high back booster is an excellent booster, that will also grow with your child. This seat is also for children that are 30-100 lbs and up to 57? tall, features a 6-position height adjustment, and the pad removes easily for machine-washing. Brianna Child:
I used it rear facing in a 98 Honda civic using the lap belt with no problems.
Mindy Butler I:
I believe so. It was easy for me and secure. I always use a locking clip with belts that don't lock

Brianna Child:
I have one for my son, had it since July 2010 and we love it so we are getting one for our daughter too.
Kathryn Smith:
I need a narrow car seat for when my childcare takes my daughter to preschool and has to fit three kids in the back of a Honda civic. This car seat will fit three across, the reviews are all great, and it looks easy to install.
Suzanne Meyer:
This is the narrowest car seat on the market. I need to fit a 18mo old, a 3mo old & a 3yr old in the back of a VW Jetta.
Mindy Butler I:
safe seat needed for my son!
Barry Kennedy:
It was on an Amazon wish list.
Amy Dale:
We already have one for another car and really like it.
